Joanne Trattoria

New York, NY
Owned and operated by the family of Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (a.k.a. Lady Gaga), this cozy restaurant on the Upper West Side is purposefully low-key compared to the icon’s larger-than-life personality. It serves up authentic Italian cuisine, with many dishes drawing from Germanotta family recipes, such as Joanne’s Spaghetti & Meatball and Cynthia’s Chopped Antipasti.

Fonda Comida Mexicana

New York, NY

It’s rare that the celeb owner of a restaurant is also its highly trained chef. But that’s what you get with Fonda, serving authentic contemporary Mexican fare in the East Village, Chelsea and Park Slope neighborhoods. The restaurant’s owner is Roberto Santibañez, a celebrity chef with a James Beard award and several cookbooks under his belt, though you might also recognize him from the film Spy Kids or his many TV appearances.

PUMP

West Hollywood, CA
Cater to your inner “Housewife” with a meal at this posh Hollywood restaurant owned by reality TV personality Lisa Vanderpump, who also owns LA mainstays Villa Blanca and SUR. Dine on Mediterranean-Italian cuisine in a sexy ambience designed by Vanderpump, who drew inspiration from time spent living in France. Among the “wow” factors: 100-year-old olive trees shade the garden area lined with private cabanas. Keep your eyes peeled for other celebrities—they’re known to hang here.
