With JFK's new ARK, your dog's now traveling better than you

Hans Christian Anderson once said, “To travel is to live.” Our edit of Mr. Anderson’s quote: “To travel is to be stressed out in transit.”

Perhaps that sentiment is most true when it comes to animals, with the chaos of all the giant people, the confusion of being on a hot, stuffy plane—it’s can be incredibly stressful. All that is now changing at New York‘s JFK airport and pretty soon, your pet might be traveling better than you!

The ARK is a brand new 80,000 square foot facility at JFK Airport aiming to make travel easier, less stressful, and safer for all animals. They provide a full-service, 24-hour quarantine and reception center for animals coming into or leaving the country, as well as for pets traveling within the US. Privately owned, an impressive $65 million dollars went in to making The ARK, which includes everything from high-end food to top-notch health care. Here’s how ARK will change the airline experience for animals vs. their people… Try not to be jealous.
