Staying in Napa Valley is a wine lover’s dream, but staying at one of these hotels located on an actual Napa vineyard provides an even more authentic look into the Napa Valley lifestyle. With this type of unique experience, guests can literally walk from their hotel room and pick grapes straight from the vine—no need to drive or bike to a nearby winery to taste world-class wine.

SENZA Hotel

This Napa Valley boutique hotel and luxury resort overlooks the rolling hills of Darioush vineyards, providing a romantic and breathtaking view. The resort was purchased by Craig and Kathryn Hall, owners of HALL and WALT Wineries, in 2006 as a way to extend the wine experience beyond the tasting rooms of their wineries, and to give each guest a fuller slice of Napa living. What sets SENZA apart from other Napa hotels is its luxury amenities and location. Each spacious room features natural light and is just footsteps away from vines. Some luxurious amenities include fireplace, heated floors, private patio, marble-tiled bathroom and contemporary art collection. SENZA offers complimentary breakfast daily catered by Bouchon, as well as an evening wine and cheese reception. SENZA also has an on-site spa that offers a full slate of signature services, including a Chardonnay Facial and Hand and Foot Cork Massage.

Harvest Inn

The Harvest Inn by Charlie Palmer is part of Charlie Palmer Group and borders Whitehall Lane’s Leonardini Family Vineyards. The Inn is owned and operated by renowned chef Charlie Palmer. In addition, there are five culinary gardens on the property—including three bee colonies—that fuel the menu for the Harvest Table restaurant during growing season. The restaurant serves a daily complimentary breakfast for all hotel guests, as well as brunch, lunch and dinner. In warmer seasons, the Inn offers a package titled “Vineyard, Farmer, Table” that includes a two-night stay, tour of their culinary gardens with chef Levi Mezick, select estate grown items for dinner in the restaurant, a visit to Silver Oak Cellars Winery for a private tasting and a culinary garden tasting menu at Harvest Table with paired Silver Oak and Twomey Cellars wines. The Vineyard View Collection rooms are among the only hotel rooms in Napa Valley that sit directly on vineyard land. Guests can walk outside and pluck a grape directly from the vine.
