There’s nothing more annoying than having to drag yourself out of a heavenly pool and into hot weather, find a towel, dry off, locate your flip flops and march over to the bar—all just to order a margarita. It’s either that or wait until a server happens to walk by, which is never often enough. But getting your next drink is a lot easier at these hotels, where you just have to swim up to the bar and perch yourself on an underwater bar stool, staying cool while imbibing a tropical drink.

  1. La Paloma in Tucson, swim up pool bar is nice. Good water slide very nearby. Close enough so I can watch my kids, far enough away to ignore them, and fun for a couple of runs myself, till I miss my underwater barstool that is.

  2. I have been to the KEE Resort in Thailand and it is an amazing place 🙂 Totally recommend it if you ever go to Asia.
