Surrounded by the soaring Laurentian mountains, the Canadian village of Mont Tremblant attracts ski fans aplenty, but this Alpine stunner offers a variety of activities with no snow required. From strolling through the quaint shops and snagging Quebecois treats like poutine and maple taffy, to hiking scenic trails, you need not be a snow bunny to enjoy Mont Tremblant. Birds of Prey Show

Spectacular views are just the beginning on the summit of Mont Tremblant. From June through September, visitors can observe eagles, owls and falcons up close during the Birds of Prey Show.  Trainers bring the birds right in front of you as you learn about their habitat and hunting skills. Seeing an eagle soar right over your headand witnessing an owl catch food in mid air is a highlight you’ll never forget.

Scandinave Spa Mont Tremblant

Forget about the typical indoor spa experience: At Scandinave Spa Mont Tremblant, nature is part of the spa treatment. Stretching along the banks of the Diable River, the spa features outdoor pools, cascades and the river itself as natural baths. Dip into icy water and then warm in a relaxing circuit surrounded by gardens. The spa is open all year but the outdoor hammocks and river swims are best when the temps are above freezing.

Skyline Luge

Make like an Olympian and hop onto a mountain-hugging luge ride. Skyline Luge offers an invigorating race down the mountain at a speed users control using handlebars. It all starts with a chairlift ride to the the top of the track, where you’ll fly down in the three-wheel luge cart. The luge  is open from May through November and is one of the most popular non-ski activities.

Casino De Mont Tremblant

The thrills are all inside at the sleek Casino de Mont Tremblant, located within Versant Soleil, a lush forest that’s just a free shuttle ride away. There’s also an express gondola that will transport you to the casino’s array of games, shows and fine dining. Locals come to check out the free music shows as well as sip cocktails at the Bar Lounge or Bar du Casino, or sample seafood delights at Altitude Restaurant. The Casino is open seven days a week, through October 16.
