If your dog is hounding you for a vacation, don’t worry. Nowadays, thousands of hotels are pet-friendly. But certain properties are going the extra mile to leash in pet-crazy patrons. We’ve vetted some for you. Here are 7 pet-friendly hotels that Fido will love:

Here’s a pointer: If you want to train your dog to be a ball boy, the Serve, Fetch, Love package at TopNotch Resort in Stowe might do the trick. Guests staying at the Vermont resort receive tennis lessons and Fido gets to retrieve the balls. If the ball boy is dog-tired after the workout, head to the Topnotch Spa. It offers dog massages and Rover Reiki, a Japanese form of energy work. Human treatments are also available.

The LoewsCoronado Bay Resort in California gives the term “dog paddle” a whole new meaning. The Su-ruff Camp package lets surfers hang ten…or 30…with their pet. Surfing lessons are included, as is a copy of The Dog’s Guide to Surfing. What’s more, your pooch can be a stylish dude should he decide to wear the doggy board shorts provided.

Kimpton is well-known for its pet programs. The usual Kimpton treatment includes lobby treats, in-room water bowls and mats, invitations to a nightly wine reception, etc. But beyond that, several Hotel Monaco properties are walking the walk to the nth degree. The Hotel Monaco Alexandria in Virginia holds a weekly Doggy Happy Hour and allows pets to be best men or maids of honor at weddings held on property. At the Hotel Monaco Chicago, furry guests staying in the Serenity Suite can enjoy an in-room massage.

Another relaxing spot for a dog to take a “paws” is the W Fort Lauderdale. The hotel’s Dog-Gone-It package includes a dog bandana, a Bark Box delivery, plush in-room dog beds and peanut butter and oatmeal snacks. For that extra-special holiday, book the pet suite including a balcony outfitted with tinkle turf pads. Better still, both you and and Fido can enjoy dinner in bed. The menu (for the dog) includes organic salmon filet with steamed asparagus and burgers with diced pineapples.

Several Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, including the Fairmont Pittsburgh and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, serve as the dog house for resident Canine Ambassadors. Mostly labs and retrievers, many are flunk-outs from guide dog training school. So, if you are looking for a dog to lead you around a city, forget about it. On the other hand, for those who want a walking companion, or for those in need of some puppy love, theresident Fairmont dog is at your beck and call.
