Happy Chinese New Year! In the Chinese Zodiac calendar, 2016 is the Year of the Monkey and officially begins February 8 with festivities happening in cities and countries across the globe.   1. I love to be with my family and close friends, but I decided a long time ago that if I want to go somewhere or see something, waiting for others to want to do the same thing means I could completely miss out. I just go myself and meet new people and enjoy myself.
