You wouldn’t think Las Vegas would be the ideal summer destination given the fact that it sees temperatures well into the 100s between June and August. Yet it’s inexplicably like spring break all over again as thousands of bikini-clad women and the dudes who rush to buy them drinks invade the biggest and best pools Vegas has to offer yet again giving this desert metropolis the justly famous nickname Sin City. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen to these epic Las Vegas pool parties.

Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
Not technically a part of the famous Las Vegas Strip (although it’s only a few blocks away), Rehab every Saturday and Sunday at the Hard Rock Hotel is nevertheless considered the original Las Vegas pool party and still one of Sin City’s most popular. Top-notch DJs, outrageous shenanigans and an expansive pool area guarantee good times.

As if the Cosmopolitan‘s 2010 debut wasn’t enough a grand tsunami, more splashes are being had at the resort’s adults only day- and nightclub entertainment complex which boasts the Dayclub pool, two bars and a shaded gaming area plus ten luxe private bungalow cabanas with infinity edge glass dipping pools and flat-screen TVs.

Wet Republic at MGM Grand
Adjacent to MGM‘s main pool, Wet Republic lures with a dizzying array of amenities including more than 6,000 square feet of saltwater pool areas, weekday open swims, six private dipping pools, a 2,500 square foot open-air lounge, a 14-week bikini competition and weekends at the pool featuring visiting talent like Calvin Harris.

Okay so it may be too early to hand this newcomer a blue ribbon, but while boozing it up at the Cromwell cocktail lounge Bound by Salvatore, we were champing at the bit to hit the 11th floor of this brand new boutique hotel and indulge in the Strip’s only rooftop deck featuring eight luxury pools, two bars, 15 private cabanas and city views.

Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay
We were green with envy the first time we spotted folks floating down the Lazy River in inner tubes at Mandalay Bay which led us to its family-friendly pool area vaunting a wave pool, shallow areas and more than 2,7000 tonsof real sand (imagine the castles!). But it also led us to discover the resort’s Daylight Beach Club for adults, a weekend poolside retreat with private cabanas and a 1,400 stage where headlining DJs take the stage every Sunday exactly as the sun sets.

XS Night Swim at the Wynn
You don’t have to be royalty to indulge in this nighttime pool party even though this is where Prince Harry famously raced Ryan Lochte (and later had his royal jewels caught on camera), but this after hours Sabbath event at the Wynn is nevertheless the place to get soaking wet while visiting DJs like Skrillex, David Guetta and Avicii keep you grooving.

Temptation Sundays at Luxor
Break out your Speedo for this one, if you’re a dude who likes other dudes you’re going to need it.  This long-running Sabbath event takes over a gargantuan pool at the Egyptian-themed Luxor each week for a same-sex afternoon of high-energy dance music, gorgeous girls and guys and bouncy balls everywhere—we’re talking beach balls of course.
