Just in time for the Tony Awards in June, head to the Big Apple and enjoy a Broadway show (or two). Though Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark has been riddled with problems and the creators have gone back to rehearsals to revamp the show before it opens June 14, theater-lovers have plenty of other options, including family favorites like The Lion King, Wicked, and Mary Poppins and dark dramas like War Horse and Lombardi.

Here are three hotels that put you in the heart of the Great White Way.

Mayfair New York Hotel: Located adjacent to the Eugene O’Neill Theater and a block from the Gershwin Theater, this intimate hotel features 24/7 concierge service, free Internet and cozy but clean guest rooms. It’s the perfect spot for taking in a Broadway show, but guests can also hop on the subway and go sightseeing, since the nearest stop (50th Street) is just a block away.

Michelangelo Hotel: This elegantly European hotel is just off Broadway, one block from The Gershwin Theater. Guests rave about the attentive staff and luxurious accommodations. With marble bathrooms, a 24-hour fitness center, overnight shoeshine, and turndown service, it’s easy to see why Travel + Leisure magazine named Michelangelo Hotel among its 500 Greatest Hotels of the World.

Flatotel: The Flatotel features a chic, cosmopolitan décor in midtown Manhattan. Egyptian cotton sheets, generously sized rooms and 24-hour room service help guests unwind from the frantic pace of the city. It’s a short walk to Rockefeller Center and a few more to Times Square.
