We asked Orbitz Facebook fans to name their favorite Mexico vacation spots, and these are the hotspots and  Mexico hotels that topped the list.

La Quebrada
If you’ve got a taste for adventure but a lack of appetite for the outright danger that cliff diving presents, you’ll like living vicariously through the cliff divers atLa Quebrada cliffs in Acapulco. But bring a friend—you’ll need someone to cling to as you watch the La Quebrada Cliff divers plunge 150 feet into the waters below.

Excellence Playa Mujeres Resort
Of the many Mexico hotels, you’ll find yourself swimming in utter luxury at the Excellence Playa Mujeres. When you’re not out snorkeling, windsurfing, kicking up your heels in underwater aerobics or taking dancing or cooking lessons, you could be back in your suite lazing in front of the 42” flatscreen. One of my personal favorite amenities are the all-marble double showers for two, which might just be a cool way of saying “romance” in Español. This 5-star all inclusive, adults-only resort resort is located 25 miles from Cancun International.

Todos Santos
If you want off the beaten path but don’t like machetes, check out Todos Santos, a small coastal town in Baja that’ll deliver you far from the touristy crowds. This place is like its own paradise, with gourmet restaurants, art galleries, and a load of outdoor activities.

Suddenly itching for a south-of-the-border escape? Me too. Time to book a flight, hotel, and some fun activities for my next Mexico vacation.
