Disneyland World of Color

Whittling down a list of sights to take in when planning California vacations is no mean feat. But if you throw Disneyland into the works, you’ve got yourself a bona-fide game changer. Even if you’ve already been to Disneyland, you haven’t yet seen World of Color at Disney California Adventure, which opens today, June 11, and warrants a Disneyland vacation all on its own.

If you’re anything like me, the details will probably set your feet into giddy motion. World of Color is a 25-minute, nighttime-animation, laser and music extravaganza consisting of highlights from numerous classic Disney movies, all projected against an immense wall of water. Hard to imagine, I know, but check out this World of Color video for some sense of this gorgeous Disney spectacular (I’ve watched it  once, and I’m already sold.)

Great deals on California vacations

Now is the perfect time to book your trip to Disneyland to experience the World of Color — not only because you’ll enjoy the best of summer vacations, but also to take advantage of the latest Disney deal. Book now through September 1, and you can get a 5-for-3 Disneyland vacation for the price of a 3-day ticket. Think 5 nights at Disneyland is too much? If so, it might be time to wake you inner wild child.
