Singles enjoying the scene at Bali’s Bounty Hotel.

I’m young and single, so of course I had to find the best party location on my beach vacations trip to Bali this spring. I decided to stay in Kuta, a beach vacations destination perfectly saturated with tourists, surfers, clubs, and restaurants. Located in the southern end of the island, Kuta is also known as being a hub for singles looking to meet new people.

I chose to stay at the Bounty Hotel because of its reputation as the best party hotel in Bali — and I knew why as soon as I set foot inside. Music from the pool-area deejay was thumping as I made my way to the front desk on the evening of my arrival. Young, international jet-setting travelers were already congregating, cigarettes and cocktails in hand. Every Friday night the hotel throws a party that costs $45 and offers unlimited drinks and food until 10 p.m., along with live music and entertainment. When the smoke machines kick in, Brittany Spears hits the sound system, and a hip and colorful crowd performs perfectly choreographed moves, you’ll wonder whether you’re at a beach club resort in Bali or Las Vegas.

The Bounty Hotel is a ten-minute walk from Sky Garden, a four-story dance club that features different music in each room. A few doors down is the Bounty Club, which has multiple small dance rooms and one large room with a stage, and cages if you want to show off your moves.

Enjoy the best of beach vacations and escape during the day to relax and refuel for the partying ahead. Take a five-minute walk to picturesque Kuta Beach. Kick back and get your hair braided, have a massage, get a mani/pedi, take a surf lesson, or indulge in fresh fruit offered by local vendors. Neighboring beaches include Legion and Seminyak. I stumbled upon the adorable and quaint restaurant Poppies; here I felt like a princess ina fairytale dining in my very own lush garden. Their watermelon martini and penne pasta gave me the energy needed for my evening adventures.

Alternative party hotels and beach club resorts that knocked my socks off are The Hard Rock Hotel and Hotel Barong. Both have prime locations close to Legion Beach, and both are within walking distance of the hottest clubs in Bali.
