Cher plans long-term gig on Las Vegas Strip

Cher is the latest pop music legend to settle in for a long concert
gig at one of the top Las Vegas hotels.

Cher has agreed to perform approximately 200 shows over
three years at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, where she will
alternate performances with Bette Midler and Elton John.

"I started in Vegas at Caesars, so I’ve come full
circle," Cher said in a prepared
statement. "I’m back and I plan to give my fans the best experience
yet."

Cher’s 90-minute show —
set to open May 6 — will include lavish costumes and state-of-the-art lighting
and special effects.

Cheap tickets for the show will be hard to come by — prices will range from $95 to $250.
