We came here on 1st of August for 1 night, 2 people. great view from the room, very friendly check-in, parking directly in front of house, nice spacious pool and spa area, and we had a 5 course dinner on the outside terrace. we had pre-ordered vegan food for both guests and we really liked the food: was very diverse, tasty and cooked perfectly. We were both positively surprised.
From rooms facing the seaside, you will get a fantastic panorama over the Lake Zurich. There is a great spa available to relax. The resort offers various saunas and Turkish baths. You will get free snacks and drinks. It is up to your choice whether you want to be naked or wear bathing suits in the sauna area, but it is mandatory to wear a bathing suit in more public spaces. The restaurant offers a great choice of various high-class menus. The sumptuous morning breakfast buffet was overwhelming. The room was clean, and there were two bathrobes which you can wear to access the spa area directly. It is rather expensive but an excellent choice for a weekend away from the business to relax and enjoy!
Super service, very efficient, very clean, excellent dinner (Collina restaurant) Tignanello 2015 by the glass. Fantastic pool indoor / outdoor, heated to 30 deg. in April, Rooms are big, no carpets thank you, well equipped, wonderful view over Zurichsee
I just stayed one night for a conference and everything worked like the proverbial Swiss cuckoo clock. Easy check in, nice room, good facilities and helpful staff throughout my stay. Dinner was already organised, nothing special but all perfectly fine. Breakfast was great - a lovely view and good grub. The bar upstairs makes you wonder what is the core business of the establishment but the service and drinks are fine. The geography of the hotel needs a little orientation as it is built on a hillside and the layout can be a little confusing at first if a number of rooms on different floors are being used for a seminar or whatever.
The hotel was a complete disappointment. Dirt and cracks on walls in the room, cheap sanitary equipment. Furniture is on the level of a 3star hotel. The room is not cozy at all, it looks more like a storage room with a bed. No way it is worth 500€ a night. Room service menu is nothing special and highly overpriced as well. One of us got a food poisoning after local snacks. The hotel itself looks cheap and smells cheap. Breakfast is an epic fail, basically nothing to choose from.
This hotel was very clean and has friendly staff that speak English. :) Nice lounge area and restaurants inside. Great room service and it was nice cozy in the winter. My room had an amazing view of the city. I love this place!
We had a great weekend filled with romance and amazing food. The 5-course dinner was great. The service was kind and helpful. The oriental boutique room is beautiful and the spa is relaxing. We enjoyed our time a lot and would come again.
The hotel give you an opportunity to have a 360Deg of best what Swiss can offer. This is too too breathtaking. go to any spot of hotel , look at any side and you will find peace, tranquility, scenic beauty. the Spa is the highlight & pool is to live for !!
Had a conference with 20 people. Excellent service, infrastructure and good choice of food and drinks. Well stocked bar and helpful staff assisting with conference infrastructure. Rooms with a view overlooking the lake are great and modern.
Ok, it has been a very hot summer therefore we checked if the room in this luxury 4* hotel has air-conditioning. The hotel website didn't mention so however the information in Tripadvisor about the room amenities does mention there is Air Conditioning. So we relied on this information to find out on arrival that the room didn't have Air Conditioning. The room had evening sun so temperature in the room was over 30 degrees Celcius, you can't sleep under these conditions, it was terrible. For us this a showstopper.
