The location is great, just in the heart of the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. I usually like to rent a roomy units and this was the best option that I found for my stay in Zurich. In fact, the living area was not too big, but the bathroom was very roomy. The unit does not have enough storage to arrange guest belongings comfortable.

Hotel location was good - in walking distance to everything in Old Town. Hotel itself was clean and serviceable, no major negatives, nothing that stood out as really positive. Rooms were a bit spartan, but A/C and showers were better than most others we experienced in Switzerland. Staff was professional if not quite as friendly as other hotels we enjoyed.

I had a long layover and this was ideal for staying centrally, close for transportation back to the airport and access to restaurants and the lake nearby. Quiet room to refresh and helpful staff to get my on the right transportation the next morning.

Our stay at Marktgasse Hotel was short but great! The staff at check in were fantastic and very helpful. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The water, coffee, and tea station available 24 hours was also nice. The candy at reception was also nice! The hotel is located in a great area full of shops and restaurants. You are steps away from the sights of Zurich and the tram station . The hotel room was nice and very well kept. I highly recommend a stay at Marktgasse Hotel.
