We stayed here during our few days visiting Zion National Park. Excellent location as it’s less than a half mile from the park’s entrance. Lots of great restaurants within a mile of here. Nice pool, great views. They also have a labyrinth above which is pretty cool. Lots of hotels in town; you can’t go wrong staying here. There is a town shuttle that stops right at this hotel so you can go to the park or to the restaurants without having to drive or walk.
Stay in room 210! It was spacious, clean, and quiet. The pool is small but very nice and hot tub feels delightful after a long hike. The pool area has a nice shady section if you'd like to have some pool time and read in the shade. The Spotted Dog is attached and has a great breakfast. Just note that the coffee is not included in the breakfast buffet price. Very helpful staff and there's two nice mountain bikes you can rent for free.
Here's the issue, we stayed in a room that had another room to the left and right of us, as well as above (Room 104). Anytime someone in one of these rooms flushed their toilet or turned on their shower, you heard it! It was loud! We were awoken in the middle of the night and early in the morning. We didn't feel like changing rooms so we dealt with it. Positively, the room/bathroom was clean, the restaurant on the property was excellent and the pool and hot tube were a bonus after a long, hot day of hiking. Also, the folks at the front desk were very helpful and friendly.
We weren’t intending to stay in Springdale, however, we missed the cut off to get our RV through a restricted tunnel in Zion National Park. We booked in to Flanigan’s for the night. The staff were excellent, allowed us to park our RV in their car park, and leave it there the next day while we did the amazing Angel’s Landing hike. They provided us with excellent local restaurant tips and advice for the Zion Park activities. Breakfast the next morning was great value $4.99 (USD) for guests. Lovely pool with amazing backdrop of picturesque Zion. Overall, a very friendly and positive experience. Shuttle to Zion is across the road and is very easy to navigate. Would highly recommend Flanigan’s as a base to explore Zion.
Stayed here for 3 nights in Zion. Walking distance to the park and there are shuttles to town. We stayed in 301 and had an outdoor patio all to ourselves. Staff was friendly and got good advice on travels from Todd our server at the bar. Clean and relaxing after hiking all day. Wine glasses in the room were a nice touch-no drinking out of plastic. Small sink at the coffee area as well.
We stayed at Flanigan's one night. I wish that we had more nights to spend there! The room was nice, the front desk staff couldn't have been nicer, and the breakfast is great. They provide these nice reusable water bottles so that you don't have to pollute the earth with plastic bottles and they also provide you with a bag to hold your stuff. I thought those were really nice touches. We walked right into the park and caught the shuttle. Flanigan's let us leave some luggage in the lobby because we were afraid that it would be too hot in the car. When I return to Zion, I will definitely stay at Flanigan's.
The moment we stepped out of the hot glare of the afternoon sun into the pleasantly appointed lobby, we knew we were going to like the Flanigan's Inn. The man who checked us in was extremely helpful with suggestions for our Zion Park strategy. Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. We were tickled with the complimentary aluminum reusable water bottles. We were able to walk to the pedestrian entrance to the park. We enjoyed a stroll around the grounds of the inn after returning from the park in the evening--delightful! Our itinerary was tight, so we could only stay in Springdale/Zion one night and day. I would have enjoyed a longer stay.
Flalnigan’s Inn in Springdale is an excellent base for exploring Zion Park. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The location is good being one of the closest to the Park entrance where the park shuttle pick up point. This means that you don’t have to rely on the Springdale shuttle which only starts later. A few important travel tips: Tip 1: don’t confuse the Springdale shuttle which has pick up points in the town and stops at the park entrance with the Zion Park shuttle which services the park itself. Tip 2: The park and shuttle stops get VERY busy resulting in long queues and waiting times. Get up early and try be at the park shuttle about 15 minutes before the first shuttle of the day. You can then enjoy the park at dawn while it is less crowded and cool. Also, you can then relax by the pool during the heat of the day while everyone else is fighting queues, overcrowded shuttles and the heat before going back into the park when it cools down again. Tip 3: Flannagan’s has a spacious common area next to their reception. There is a dining area, lounge and microwave oven. We brought our own food and enjoyed several meals here, all alone!
Very unprofessional! They will not work with your schedule at all. We had an emergency and they would not move our check in date or work with us at all. They were extremely rude when I asked to move the check in date back by one day.. note that this was not a holiday or weekend and they were not busy at all. Save your time and give your business to a better hotel that deserves it.
We stayed four nights while hiking Zion. Great location for hiking Zion National Park. Very clean. Restocked every day. Fresh room every day. Spotted dog restaurant is great for breakfast and dinner. Only downside might be the single washer and dryer. They also called to let us know we left an iPad plus and offered to mail it to us for just the minor shipping fee. Would definetly return
