Flanigan's Inn3.0 out of 5.0

Average size but clean rooms, small bath room, no breakfast, good hot tub, coffee in the lodge, restaurant closed in winter, indifferent staff, ample parking, close to the park. Not the fanciest place, but at least their price reflected that and made it a good value (particularly in the winter).
We were headed to Bryce Canyon in January, but the snow and sub-zero temperatures were more than these retirees wanted to brave while hiking. We're so glad we changed our plans! Our two-night stay in Zion was awesome! Flanigan's Inn had all the details covered (with the exception of the hopefully soon-to-be-completed construction out front). The view at sunset of the Watchman Cliffs is beautiful, if the weather is nice, you can literally walk to the entrance to Zion NP. We sort of wish we had stayed in the Spring or Fall so that we could have enjoyed the restaurant, but they were closed for the off season.
Stayed at Flannigan's for Christmas again......Hooray...What a wonderful time...Ate at the adjoining restaurant....Had Christmas Eve massages at the convenient spa. Friendly and helpful staff. See you again.
The inn is located a short distance from the park entrance. For starters, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful as far as recommending restaurants. The room was large (we had a 1 bedroom suite) and well decorated. Everything is exceptionally quiet and the beds are super comfortable. Deer were outside our window one morning. If you are traveling here anytime before April, be aware that the main road is being completely redone and is down to one lane. It's a minor inconvenience and had I known this ahead of time, I still would have have stayed here.
We travel from England to Zion and stay at Flanigan, it feels just like a calming retreat with the beautiful sand stone rock as a backdrop and it has several styles of accommodation. The Zion Park entrance is just a short distance away and there are good restaurants within walking distance including a Pizza place and the Spotted Dog (very good breakfast buffet). We have visited for the past 5 years and will do so again this year since we never seem to tire of it's peaceful, calming and welcoming appeal.
What a gem of a hotel this is. Set in lovely grounds with a secluded swimming pool in one of the most beautiful national parks in the US. The room was beautifully appointed and had the feel of a luxury 5* hotel with a large and very sleek bathroom. The staff were incredibly knowledgable about the park, hikes and trails suitable for families and young children. The on site restaurant served delicious food and the breakfast buffet was great too. A last lovely touch was the hilltop maze puzzle.
This delightful hotel is a 10 minutes walk from Zion National Park. We stayed for three nightsThanksgiving weekend. There are several buildings surrounding a landscaped courtyard with pool and sculptures. Our party had two rooms on the second floor, giving us the whole floor to ourselves. Balconies enabled one to sip a glass of wine while watching the sun set behind the mountain. Rooms are large and well-appointed, with comfortable beds, refrigerator and custom toiletries. Staff was pleasant, informative and professional. The story of the Inn in the hotel handbook wa very interesting as it has been around for a long time. We treated ourselves to massages after hiking in the park, which was wonderful. A little disappointed the restaurant was not open the weekend we were there, but there are many options in town. Sighting many abundant deer sneaking around at night or springing from an arroyo in the morning helped to offset the annoyance of ongoing road construction. The town was teeming with visitors overs Thanksgiving weekend, but in our enclave all was serene. Though too cold for swimming, the lounges around the pool were perfect for viewing the Milky Way and searching out falling stars. The hot tub was a pleasant experience, as was walking the labyrinth at the top of the hill. I would definitely return to Flanigan’s!
We spent 2 nights at the hotel to celebrate Christmas and had the most wonderful experience. We loved the ambience, food at the restaurant, and the rooms. The location is just outside Zion National Park and the views are stunning. Treat yourself to the spa services they offer. We had massages and it was wonderful experience - outstanding massage therapist!!!
Strategically located within walking distance to Zion Visitors Center. Well appointed rooms, plenty of parking, and an excellent restaurant. Staff very pleasant and polite. Would recommend going in the spring or fall of the year as it is less crowded.
Strategically located in the north end of Springdale, Flanigan's is the perfect home base for exploring Zion Canyon (National Park). A short drive (or a long stroll) takes visitors to the west park entrance. From there the incredible beauty of one of my favorite National treasures unfolds. But back to Flanigans...the front desk staff are the best! Accommodating and knowledgeable about the area, they treat guests with friendly respect. The rooms are spic and span clean. The beds are oh-so-comfortable. The fact that the property is above the road noise and dust is a definite plus! (The spa treatment, if you are so inclined, is enjoyable and refreshing!) Will definitely consider staying at Flanigans again!
