we were on a 4 night coach holiday on a B&B stay.the hotel was about 10 minutes from the village.the restaurant next to the hotel was not always open so it meant you had to walk to the village if you wanted an evening meal.fortunately the room had an empty fridge so you make your own uncooked supper.the room also had a kettle with tea and coffee supplied.it also had a safe and a tv with bbc1&2.if you drive yourself it would be ideal.the staff were friendly and helpful.the hotel was clean and tidy, also it had free wi-fi.

The right distance from the industrial area and in the middle of the country, this Hotel is a good compromise. Nearby one good restaurant with excellent food. Rooms are standard level, big parking place ( no charge for it) small fitness room. It looks like a bit old but all in all I would recommend it. WIFI connection free and fast.

We stayed at the Golden Tulip for three nights as part of our Leger holiday to the bulb fields. The hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from Zevenbergen village. Our room was clean, two single beds pushed together, pillows ok and bedding clean and fresh. Towels nice and clean as well. Room has safe, fridge and tv, also kettle and cups, coffee and tea. TV had some english cannels. No real complaints except the shower over the bath which did not have a slip mat and a very slippy bath surface, bath was also very high, toilet was behind the door dangerous. Beds soft and very low and the cups were dirty so didnt use them. We were only on bed and breakfast, the breakfast was taken in the hotel. Scrambled eggs or they would fry or boil one for you, bacon and small sausages available, tea, coffee, and very bitter orange juice. Rolls, bread and pastries plus jam etc. No complaints and plenty of room to sit. The hotel only does breakfast so evening meal had to be taken else where, there is a restaurant on site but we did not take advantage of the meal booked by the coach drivers, and went into Zevenbergan for two nights and found some great restaurants there. Hotel staff were friendly.

We stayed here for a long weekend as part of a coach trip to see the tulips gardens and Amsterdam staff very friendly and helpful I had a disabled room which was very good walk in shower the only downside with the shower there's wasn't a drop down seat or any rails to hold on to as I'm a bit frail on my feet I had to be very careful. Couldn't fault the food in a separate building and the waiting staff were excellent. We had breakfast and dinner included. Rooms very large and bed very comfortable.

We stayed at the Golden Tulip in Zevenbergen over the Easter weekend, and it was amazing, the staff are very friendly and always happy to help.We had a junior suit which was just fantastic, very clean, and maid service everyday, the food was lovely, just can't fault this hotel,we were part of a coach party, and our dinner was at 7pm which is in a separate building next to the hotel, and I have to mention Milo,he was an absolute pleasure, always friendly and always happy to help. (dinner is not buffet),but breakfast is buffet and they start serving breakfast at 7am,I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed in this hotel for couple of days. When I arrived I was nicely surprised to see such a big room in this small provincial hotel. Very nice lobby with tv and that evenings everybody was enjoying football games! Rooms are clean enough and restaurants are also good. Unfortunately there's nothing around hotel so only good for business trip when you spend time in there only in the evening.

Nice hotel about an hour from Amsterdam,we went on 23rd December beer until the 27th. The hotel was decorated beautifully with lots of pretty Christmas trees and decorations, the bar area is rather small but adequate. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious with A few English channels on the TVs and free wi fi. However only two coathangers each and no drawers at all just a couple of shelves in the wardrobe.Beds were really comfortable and rooms were really warm. Evening meals were taken a short walk from the hotel in a separate building except for breakfast which was in the main building. Not a huge choice for breakfast but plenty of it. We were on a coach trip so we had no choice for our three course evening meals, however they were really good value for money. Drinks were expensive,26 euros for the cheapest bottle of mediocre wine. All the staff were polite, friendly and very helpful.Would love to go back.

This hotel certainly lives up to the 4 star reviews. Clean, comfortable and attentive staff. Rooms have fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. They are well soundproofed.Stayed in Room 15 on ground floor.Very quiet. One thing to note, there are no drawers in room.So all smalls would need to remain in suitcase or draped over one of the chairs. The breakfast was sufficient but not a large choice. Sausage ,bacon and scrambled egg on offer everyday but only two choices of cereal.Plenty of breads, cakes and meats.Orange juice is the real thing. The evening meals were served in the converted barn across from the hotel. Umbrellas provided if raining. The food is of an exceptionally high standard but do not expect meat and two veg. Much more cordon bleu but very tasty. Three courses were served each evening. The green card system of purchasing drinks is very straightforward. You order your drinks, give them your card and settle up on departure. Just make sure that staff use YOUR card and not someone else's as happened to us. All sorted in the end though. There is plenty of room in the main hotel for an evening drink following your meal. This hotel is approximately 60 miles from Amsterdam in quiet countryside so is ideal for coach parties. Would definitely recommend. .

Visited as guide and driver or English tour company. Hotel was presented very nicely for Christmas with many decorations, candles, fireplace and about 10 trees throughout! 3 course meals were cooked and presented to a high standard (that of 4-5 star standard). Breakfast consisted of generous continental as well as eggs, bacon and sausages. All staff especially manager (deiderick), and restaurant owner and restaurant young women manager/supervisor were all very very helpful. All staff went out of their way for our passengers. Rooms are spacious. Shower over bath however non slip bath mats provided. Daily housekeeping. Walk to Zevenbergen town centre maximum 10 min easy stroll. Wifi accessible throughout. Would recommend this to anyone and look forward to Skills bringing passengers back again next Christmas.

We stayed here for four nights as part of a coach tour. The room was spacious and clean with on suite bathroom and shower. The TV even had BBC channels available. There was a kettle in the room with an assortment of tea and coffee. There was a small fridge which we used for milk which we bought at a local supermarket as we prefered real milk to the creamer supplied by the hotel. Our room faced the front of the hotel overlooking the carpark, there was no noise from outside and we had a good nights sleep on comfortable beds. We did not use the bar as it used an unusual system of recording drinks on a green menu type card we were issued with on arrival. We had our meals in town which is only a short walk and has some very nice places to visit for meals or snacks.
