Exceptional Hospitality

We have stayed in any many hotels small and large in many countries over the years, and this is the best for everything by far. The hotel owners go above and beyond what you would expect, and the staff make you feel so welcome with a genuine smile every minute of the day. They are very passionate about their beautiful hotel, and also how guests should be looked after, not just whilst in the hotel but throughout their stay in the resort. Nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay extremely comfortable and want for nothing. Oh and the buffet and food every morning and evening was amazing. Every other hotel could learn a lot about running a hotel properly from Klaus and Christine We will definitely be back. Thank you for looking after us in such a warm friendly manner. Convient, clean and easy in and out

What Hotels.com doesn't tell you is that the listed price is inclusive - in other words, breakfast, lunch AND dinner are all included for each member in your party. The family run business (Familie Kerbl) really know customer service and take great pride in pleasing their guests. Their entire staff was very professional and accommodating. The location is easy to find and offers plenty of free parking.

Great family hotel

If you're looking for a quality hotel which is relaxed and family friendly then this is the location. Then staff are pleasent, helpful and a credit to the hotel. Facilities are all that you could ask for with children: Outdoor area to play; outdoor pool (One depth so not small child friendly, but indoor paddle area is fine for them); breakfast and dinner has a wide selection to suit all tastes (and the kids ate stuff they probably wouldnt eat at home thanks to suggestions from the waiter and the variety on offer). With the full board, the inclusion of 'make your own packed lunch' eliminated the daily stress of what to eat for lunch allowing much greater daytime freedom to explore. High quality finish to the rooms and an excellent level of cleanliness. Ignore all comments that cards are not accepted for payment as this is not the case.

A real alpine experience even if time is limited

Truly beautiful and relaxing. Very nice to take all meals at the hotel and not walk out to restaurants. Remarkably economical to extend the breakfast package to full board -- this may have been a special promotion. Quiet room on the garden side. Excellent access to the high mountains by a short bus ride up the hill to the Schmittenhohe cable lift. And so easy to make up a lunch to take along right at the hotel! Fabulous views of the Hohen Tauen from Schmittenhohe. And you really experience the high alps from the easy to moderate ridge walk of the Pinzgauer Spaziergang. Nice to have decent boots and trekking poles and to go for several hours out and back or the full 17 km one way hike, for a return by bus.

Nice hotel very near the center of town.

Just short of 1K up a hill. Not really any good views but it's quaint. There are goats and a VERY loud donkey on property. If animal noise bothers you, maybe look somewhere else.

Brilliant stay, highly recommended! Nothing was a problem... Diet needs catered specifically, for a small fee... Which was more than worth it! No disappointment at any stage of the stay.

Very nice newly renovated hotelwith friendly staff, spa and pool area. Close to the skiing area. Nice full breakfast.
