As a frequent Business Traveler, I have been in several places (my Profile tells the stories)... This time, in Zaragoza, the ranking of both, TripAdvisor and Booking.com, lead me to a big surprise (e.g. "Poor Experience"). The hotel location is TOP! But that's all. The hotel restaurant was really bad experience, a simple Classic Burguer was not well prepared (french fries burned, and bread quite old like 3 days bread). The room was not good experience (bad is to strong word, but definitely, was not good), size of the room, lack of insonorisation, everything thing was old, bath room was decent size, but the toilet was no near the wall. The mattress springs... Maybe it was me, but this one, I didn't like. Due to the excellent location, and also because I do not like to tell bad just because... I leave a suggestion to this Hotel Managers/Owners, namely, they should consider to start ASAP a serious remodeling of the current floor layout. I strongly suggest to get rid of 1-2 rooms per floor to get a decent room size, and same exterior light on the corridors. To invest in new windows as the exterior sounds were not a good experience. To invest in extra insonorisation layers, to avoid the bad experience of lessening next door room sounds. The bathroom from the 90's, deserve as well a serious remodeling. The photos on Tripadvisor and Bookking.com, give the impression the hotel is relatively new, which was not the case. The majority of the Staff look they were making you a favor (which is not OK for me). The only exception, was the lady that was working during the afternoon in the reception. Looking forward to read that this hotel is updated!
Close to the city center, convenient. You can access through public transportation. You can walk to the landmarks in the city. You can find good restaurants near there. The room was OK, a bit old but OK.
What is great - Good location - Ample easy to find street parking - Family rooms are adequately spacious and clean Downside - Very small elevator to carry luggage (Service Elevator was broken) - No porter available after 10pm
Clean and friendly hotel. Lacking storage place. In need of renovation but clean and ok seen to price. The restaurant we only tried for breakfast and it was ok but not worth the money, better with local cafes round the coener.
This hotel is 1.4k from del Pilar church ... very centric hotel ...confortable...good quality for price...more business than leisure...parking away with valet parking available .it is a hotel to spend the time at the city
If you only want a clean room/ bathroom , courteous staff and proximity to town center, this hotel delivers it for you! Not luxurious or fancy but for the price I will stay there every time! Free WiFi, free toiletries (I have not seen that is much expensive hotels), it was a good surprise. Walking distance to great restaurants and considering the size of the town from here you get anywhere in few minutes.
We were a little nervous having read some of the reviews, but broadly the hotel delivered its offer. The rooms were well maintained, spacious and clean with great bathrooms. The public spaces looked good, although the lifts were a little small for 2 adults with luggage and a dog. The location is fantastic and we didn't eat there so cannot comment. My only negative was the carparking, which is difficult to find and way more expensive than the public parking almost behind the hotel.
Honestly, the hotel is average, but then I paid average price for it. Nothing special, but no reason to complain. The room was clean, beds clean, bathroom clean. Yes the shower was very hot but then I kind of liked it. I didnt try breakfast, 12 Euros person, just thought too much for a family of 3 when others are not good eaters anyway. To sum it up, average hotel, average price, comfortable room and most important, no complains.
The was a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Had to close the door to be able to rest. The hotel staff had to know about it. You could not miss it. Also the pillow was way too big. Do not recommend it...
I am struggling to find something nice to say. Furniture was broken in my room (the desk fell down while I was writing in my notebook), the windows did not close properly, ensuring traffic noise, the room was facing the neighbors' back balcony and was dark, the mattress was broken, as was the floor in the bathroom. Yes, breakfast was fine. Yet I was really glad to get away from it...
