We stayed 4 nights at the end of March. This hotel perfomed above its official ranking. It was extremey clean. The bedroom was compact but had all the required cupboard and drawer space and a safe. No view to speak off but we could open the window for some fresh air. We were there during the traditional Easter parades and had chosen the hotel for its location- it was absoutely brilliant. I am a very light sleeper but we were not disturbed by any noise at all. Which bearing in mind its a very busy week was amazing. The hotel has a coffee shop as part of it and we had a lovely breakfast and excellent coffee and very good homemde cakes. I think it was a very good value for money and the staff were great.
Stayed here for the weekend and would definitely recommend it! Great value for money. The facilities were clean, it's in a great location and the customer service was fantastic. The guys at reception spoke English very well and were always happy to help.
We had a night stay. Room was on the first floor. Very simple and small. Like the Juliet balcony. The only one thing is was the noise from the corridor outside. Maybe carpet will be better idea! Overall great stay.
We booked Hotel Sauce because it was in the neighborhood we wanted and couldn't resist the name. Originally we had a 2 twin room, but thankfully they switched up to the double on the top floor. Unfortunately the elevator stops short of the top floor so had to take the stairs. However it was worth it. The room is kind of funny since part of the roof slopes, but it had skylights to watch the night sky from bed. The bathroom was large and well equipped. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The cafe had everything and looked great. The location is absolutely great, so many amazing restaurants within a couple blocks, the Plaza de Pilar is only about 2 blocks as well. However plan to arrive by bus or taxi and walk or call the hotel ahead if driving.
Came to Zaragoza for one night and stayed in this hotel. Definitely value for money. We had a family room- it was small but it’s enough for the 1 night. However the bathroom was quite big considering such a small room. They provided towels and toiletries. No fridge or tea making facilities. The room did get very hot at night and there was no option to turn the heating down. The guys at reception was also very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place as it’s value for money, clean and within the centre for you to see everything in Zaragoza.
This is a great little hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was on the 6th floor(be aware that the lift only goes to the fifth floor!) It was clean modern and apart from preferring a bath was all I needed. It’s in a good location - Basilica just around the corner. Lots of restaurants. It has its own cafe. Breakfast was good. And very reasonably priced.
Great family run hotel. Clean and renovated and has a warm welcoming vibe. They have cakes and jams that are homemade and yummy! Bed linens were nice and I appreciated that the sheets smelled nice and that there were 4 pillows, two euro pillows and two rectangular ones. The garage for car parking across the street is a tight fit, and parking is 15€ per night. It’s a very secure garage and it is key entrance and exit only! Didn’t have breakfast but it looked good.
great hotel with clean well appointed rooms and very helpful English speaking staff, We used Zaragoza as a base for the Moto GP and took the time to explore the town which was a delight to walk through on a hot evening,
I am so happy that I chose Hotel Sauce for my stay in Zaragoza! I was travelling alone over the weekend, to attend a concert. The staff in the hotel is great and very helpful. All was excellent, I loved the decoration of the hotel and the location was perfect. If I return to Zaragoza, I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!
The hotel is very nicely decorated, more spacious than a typical mid-city hotel, and has a few unique charms (really cute staircase, tea at the front desk, numbered doormats, etc.) plus was extremely clean and very quiet! However, what made it truly outstanding is two things: 1. Location. (Really could NOT be better, in the middle of everything!) and 2. Personnel - from the cleaning ladies to the breakfast servers, everyone was wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable. The front desk and coffee shop are staffed 24hours if you need it. Special thank you to Diego at the front desk, who was consistently warm, patient, and polite with my family. We strongly recommend this hotel! Thanks Diego!
