Very nice stay. Great location, room has everything you need and the hotel has a nice breakfast. Do not expect the services of Waldorf Astoria and the breakfast buffet of an hotel all inclusive in Cancun, but expect everything done correctly. I travel all around the world and I can say this is a very good option to visit Zagreb
Forgot one of our jackets there. When we called to have it returned they said they "didn't find it". They provided this answer without even looking. Obviously, someone took it, it's a big jacket. Was going to leave a great review until this experience. Not only that but if you plan to call to ask about something left behind be prepared to be told "call me back in 10 minutes, I'm busy". Therefore, I will leave any service/room related reviews with "terrible".
We loved our brief (1 night) stay at the Palace Hotel. The location was excellent - very central and walking distance to most sites in Zagreb, and also just across the street from park areas that are great for walking or just sitting and enjoying the sunshine. Our room had been recently remodeled, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The bed was hard, but that seems typical of most places we've stayed in Europe. If we are in Zagreb again, we will definitely stay here.

The hotel was perfect! It was in walking distance to all major landmarks, the staff were incredibly accommodating, breakfast included, and comfortable rooms! I am very pleased with my stay.
Just a few blocks from the main road made this a quitter location, yet close enough to easily walk to the main attractions, including the Zagreb Cathedral, funicular, and St. Mark's, and main shopping street. A very nice hotel.
