The hotel enjoys a great location near to all the main attractions in the old town. They have a separate car park (free to guests) which you can drive to directly on arrival. There is an intercom on the door which allows access. From here it is around a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Good reception on arrival with map and information provided. Our double room was very compact and in truth the shower cubicle was too small to be used comfortably. We had a problem with the water draining from the shower base on our first evening and although this was resolved the following day, it only after a third request because the message had not been passed on from the night before. The room itself was well equipped with a very comfortable bed. The room is also supplied with a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. Good range of toiletries supplied and nice fluffy towels. We thought WiFi was slow throughout the duration of our stay. Breakfast the following morning was okay. Hot dishes were pre-cooked, there was no salad but there was a reasonable selection of food available. Coffee made to order. We noted that food did not appear to be replenished after 9am. The convenience of its location and car parking facility makes it a good choice for Zagreb.
We were told this hotel was built in 1826!! So, it has issues compared to new building, but the hotel as character. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We experienced the rooms to be very clean. We experienced issues with their internet (very slow and disconnecting). The location is great, everything is within walking distance. We would not hesitate at staying at this hotel again. Enjoy!!
The Jagerhorn has a great location in a busy pedestrian area. A wide range of shops and eateries, trams, and the main square are nearby. Despite all of this activity the hotel, set back from the street and through a courtyard, is a quiet oasis. Staff were cheerful and very helpful. Room 104 is comfortable and nicely decorated. We took the option of booking transfers to and from the airport. This worked well. Both drivers were punctual, and the drop off/pick up is located only 5 minutes away from the hotel.
This is a nice little hotel in a great area. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was great. It was close to everything. Even though it is down town it was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
We spent two nights at the beginning of our trip and one night on the way home. I think it is a nice hotel for the money. The staff was friendly and helpful. A few notes...it can be loud and people everywhere outside are smoking. If you like to open your windows this might bother you. This hotel does have stairs before the entrance as well as inside. They will take your bags to your room so no problem inside. A side note not related to the hotel is that you need to ask the price of a taxi ahead of time. The meters can be rigged. Sometimes Uber works best as you can see the fare before hand.
Perfect hotel bang in the centre with beautiful rooms excellent staff absolutely perfect. I could make no negative comments. Breakfast ample with great choice. (Big thank you to the girls in the restaurant. Rooms were excellent for a city hotel and the best night sleep that I have had in ages no noise at all. Located on a quiet side street with closed gate after hours so really secure. Rooms aspect were looking out on to a patio area with a view of the hills at the back with the noise of bird song( when window was opened) super friendly staff all in all a perfect stay . If you can get a booking do direct with hotel and arange with them for pick up from airport. 100 k charge from hotel if you prebook and taxi from airport we were charged 240 k. There is no lift but it has only 2 floors and the guys on reception will help with your bags if needed. Enjoy
Staff was suburb. Location was great and on a pedestrian street. You can walk to almost every part of town from here. The breakfast was very good. Great fruit and bacon. Café outside was very nice for a n afternoon pivo.
Within walking distance to pretty much all the central sights and sites. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread offered a good variety of foods and fresh squeezed orange juice greeted guests every morning. Only gripe is there's no elevator, but hotel staff can help with your luggage. Tip: Ask hotel to reserve cab for you to/from airport or else you'll be dinged by the cab. We got charged 300 Kunas coming in while the one which the hotel helped reserve back to the airport was just 100 Kunas.
Right in the heart of Zagreb, is the oldest and yet most perfectly modernisedj hotel. Having walked around the many museums, galleries and impressive buildings all day Hotel Jagerhorn provides an unexpected quiet, secure and relaxed haven. The staff dressed in formal, old fashioned uniforms are relaxed, respectful and always helpful.
The location could not be more perfect for exploring the city of Zagreb on foot. We loved the hotel itself and the rooms were immaculate with exceptionally helpful staff on hand whenever needed. This was our second visit to this hotel and we will definitely come again.
