This hotel has not been well maintained. The rooms are tired, the furniture is out dated and beaten up, the carpets are black when they should be light brown and the lighting (if it works) is very institutional. The room lay outs are poor and cramped with very little natural light. Food at the resort is poor and hygiene seems to be a significant issue. The vent hoods of the grills drip grease onto the counter, some items are left unrefrigerated for hours (juices, smoothies and cheese) and the produce was poor quality and some was not properly washed (bugs in lettuce). It was hard to find properly washed dishes as well. The worst part of the food was I bit into a piece for roast beef to find it had broken glass in it. The glass chipped my front tooth when I bit down on it. The setting was probably good when it was built but now the resort has a public camp ground next door which is completely littered with trash, drunks and kids looking for a good time. Additionally, I didn’t realize I had paid in advance for the stay here, I tried to cancel it but no refund is offered. It is a poor business practice to lock you in so you don’t want to bail out when you see this place is a dump. I will not be staying at any Falkenstiener Hotels after this experience.

Excellent service in all areas, lot of nice details all around, clean and well kept. Staff and management extremly friendly and professional, you can see thay love their job. The food is very fresh and tasty, could be warmer though. Animation team very friendly. All in all great hotel to spend weekend gateway. We reccommend and give the highest score!

We arrived on a late flight, and when we got to our room there was a plate of breads meats and cheeses for supper which was a lovely touch. The staff were really helpful all over the resort and recommended sights to see and where to go. The food was good, and there was always a large variety. The one thing that did need sorting was the amount of fruit flies especially around the wine and beer at dinner. The facilities are fantastic and the heated indoor/outdoor pool is gorgeous. Would recommend even for couples without children (although the resort is clearly very child friendly!)

As I said in the title, hotel is nice. Rooms are clean, relaxing, comfortable and it has great lighting system. Stuff is kind, fun and nice. You can come here with a family, or on a buissness trip, or on a romantic weekend. I am sure you will like it. There are 258 rooms in the hotel. There is sea next to hotel, so the view is great. There is a pool inside and outside of the hotel.

We had a room with sea view and it was my joy to drink my morning coffee on the balcony. The food was excellent, the pool clean and the possibility to go from the inside pool into the pool outside. the children were happy. Staff very polite and friendly. Spa area offers lot of ways to relax.

We went for a family focussed holiday during October half term, did our research before we went and everything about the hotel was great. Great choice of food (lots of healthy options and all tasty) for the children and adults. Great lager for the dad and drinkable wine for the mum. We knew snack bars were not open this late in the season so this did not bother us as the restaurant was open for so long at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Entertainment and waterslide not on this late in the season either, but again we knew this before we went and it wasn't an issue. The fantastic indoor and outdoor heated pool made up for it. Have already recommended to friends and would have booked again for next half term but already fully booked!

It was one of the best wellness weekends we ever had. Spa is great, staff is very professional and customer oriented. Masseurs are very well trained. We liked private spa the most. Food is good with lot's of vareity. Rooms are clean but need refurbishing. Hotel staff told us it will be renewed during winter. If you have children there are plenty of fun for kids.

Thanks to all the staff at this superb hotel for a wonderful five night break. We arrived after midnight & after a friendly welcome we were surprised by a midnight feast awaiting us in our bedroom - bread, olives, cheese, drinks - perfect! The family room was very spacious with bunk bed room, sofa bed in lounge& very comfortable double room. Large balcony & superb bathroom with shower & bath. All finishings very modern & clean. Food was to a very high standard. We stayed all inclusive & couldn’t fault the Breakfast, lunch & dinner. Kids well catered for as pizza, pasta, fries, burgers, grilled chicken etc. In Tramontara bar drinks free 1000-2200 including coffee machine. Kids club ( falky land) had a soft play area which my three kids loved. The staff here worked so hard to keep kids entertained. Halloween was celebrated with pumpkin carvings, face painting, making costumes etc & finished off with mini disco every night 8pm. On one of the nights there was a lively band in the bar & we would have welcomed more nighttime entertainment. Pool - indoor pool is heated & extends outdoors which was perfect as the main outdoor pool was cold & the slide out of action. The spa is something else! Pure bliss & if you get a chance treat yourself to a massage. The relaxation rooms have flotation water beds & the whole ambience of the place is very peaceful. Kids are allowed in sauna from 9–10. Zadar itself is a 10 minute bus ride & is a beautiful city. The sea organ & salutation to the sun are worth seeing especially at night. We enjoyed a day trip to Krka National Park with its amazing waterfalls. Restaurant staff were very obliging in providing us with a packed lunch to take with us. All in all this was a great value for money break & will be recommending it to friends. Indeed we hope to explore in future more of the Falkensteiner group of hotels ( or as my four year old called it the Frankenstein hotel!!)
