- Yes.... I think you should have better wines at the ALL INCLUDED option at the restaurant( the wines were horrible); - The cocktails at the bar were also horribles and they were served as juices...I think you should improve... And believe that i already have been at a lot off all incusive hotels regime and you are far to reach at their feet (i think you could have profit but with a little bit more of class); - You should reorganizate the Animation Group and all the activities to the kids (The falky saves a lot of moments...but for exemple, when the kids are at the kids club i think the activities should be more interactive and persuasive.., Sometimes it seems like a babysitting and i think it could be more dynamic.. - I think you should have a doctor always in contact to urgent and semi urgent situations. I had a problem with my daughter and when i asked for a doctor it was said to me that was difficult to get one and it was better to call a taxi and go to the hospital .... One thing, When something relationed with health happens in vacations, people doesn´t matter how much you going to pay for a doctor...they want to solve things and if its possible without getting out of the hotel in a foreign country where you don´t know anything (I think you should be prepared for these kind of situations) and i think in my situation it would be greater if my wife had not been obliged to go to the hospital at midnight alone with my 3 years old daughter.

First time in Zadar and the hotel and will definitely come back again. Clean, very friendly staff, good food ... We had couple of rainy days but the indoor/outdoor warm pool made up for it! Also had an amazing massage so a visit to the spa is a must 👍🏻

Stayed here last September first experience in the superior rooms and loved it. This time stayed with family members in the XLFamily room which are bigger but dated. Much cheaper too. Buffet food we knew about and while I did like most of it, the appeal of it everyday quickly took its toll. Ate out a couple of nights and the comparison is huge but that’s expected when your food is served to you and cooked to order. Spa area is excellent especially the free treatments they provide each day (not for me!) Be warned, some people go fully naked which is accepted but swimwear is ok too. Staff are friendly too. Mini bar content is free and stocked up everyday. You pay for bottled water from the bar, instead bring a bottle they will fill up for you. 12kn for bottle water that’s 3kn in supermarket! Overall I still think it’s a great hotel for couples or families of adults in the off season when kids are at school! Don’t like the kids theme put you off you will play some games! There’s a kid in all of us! :)

We, my 14 year old son and I, visited the hotel early in the season and had a fabulous time. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, and the spaciousness of our room. The bedding was good quality and the room cleaned well. We very much enjoyed the spa facilities, even though mixed naked saunas were a shocker for a brit. Lady who looked after the spa was the kindest loveliest soul who looked after us fabulously giving us special masks to use in the sauna The pool was kept well, nice and warm and my son very much enjoyed the indoor/outdoor opening door. We were on full board and there was plenty of choice for all. It’s not the best food I’ve ever tasted, but it’s certainly not the worst. And you could always find something you wanted. We enjoyed the games facilities too. Overall it was a very good experience that I’d recommend. The staff were also incredibly warm and friendly and eager to help us. We will be back.

Nice place for family. There is a lot of good quality food. It is available almost non-stop. They have normal time for breakfast, lunch and dinner like everywhere around the world, but here they have additional snack bar which is open from 11:00 to 23:00. There for FREE you can drink (including alcohol) and eat as much as you can. In the bar there is galley where they are cooking various food. There is also open table with light food and salat. All is just near the beach so it is very bueatiful place. Hotel is also very near centar of the city

Spent few days in Fabruary, short bullets: +very good room maid service, clean rooms, friendly staff +good location, not far away from City center +big spa with great facilities -hotel dirty all around except rooms ( public toilets, retaurant tables, cutlery, glasses, spa area etc ) -outdoor space around pool is a horror!! I can not believe that nobody sees what is happening there. Extremly dirty walking paths, pool is green, pieces of garbage all around, like no one was there for couple of months - DISASTER!! Helo guys, this is an absolute NO GO. I can understand that you are in winter time, but this is still part of the hotel. Lack of supervision is visible in each corner. -Food very average and very cold -One girl at tha reception not very welcoming All in all, hotel with very big potential, but far away from what we could called good hospitality.

Stayed a couple of nights for my first visit to Zadar. Stayed in Flakenteiner hotels before but this one was IMO not of the same standard. Booked and paid for an upgraded room to ensure more comfort and a double bed as a solo traveller but the room was disappointing. The hotel was overrun by unsupervised kids so it may be ok for families but not for single, business or those looking for a romantic stay. Positives: * Free water in room * Good wifi * Good value if you can book through a discount web site Negatives: * Booked an upgraded room but they still only provided one pillow and a single doona. Had to ask for more bedding which should not be the case. * Reception was non responsive when I arrived. While another guest was being attended to, I waited, seeing other staff in the office not doing very much. Finally someone else came out and promptly by-passed me and handled the person behind me. * The room which was meant to be upgraded was done so with very cheap fittings and the bathroom vanity was already coming apart. * There were no toiletries in the bathroom apart from a liquid soap dispenser * Deluxe room was small * Meals were very ordinary and owing to the number of kids hanging around the food, felt more like McDonalds. Ate elsewhere on the second day. The location is quite a way out of the old town, although I did walk there and back (about 5 klms one way) but in a nice quiet area with lots of parkland and a marina. A couple of good restaurants across the road as well. All in all an average experience.

An extraordinary weekend with family. The rooms are beautiful, clean, large, beautiful colors, mattresses very comfortable, huge tv. Mini bar is charged on request. Pools and spa are great. Great praise for everyday entry and children in the spa part, though only 9-10 h. My kids also enjoyed the sauna, jacuzzi, water beds, and cold and hot showers. It is not to throw tea either after all, and the aromatized water that has every bit of a hotel. Pool is great. The food is solid. Cleanliness also. Staff in all segments are extremely helpful. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Spent couples of days in Zadar, amazing city. Can not say the same about hotel Funimation. Lack of supervision in entire hotel, cleanliness in the restaurant very poor, tables dirty, cutlery and glasses as well. Nobody from management around, we wanted to complain about lack of food offer on buffet at 8.30 pm, but nobody responsible there. Lot of details reffering to human factor are just not present in this hotel, lot of "I do not know" and "Im not sure" answers. The food was more like 3 stars quality, often very cold. Spa is really good, but again we missed that welcome feeling. Rooms clean. Overall very poor for Falkensteiner, there are way better hotels on Adriatic coast. You have to understand that everything starts and ends with good and quality employees. More detailed experience we will send to company HQ.

On our way from Split to Zagreb, we decided to spend a day at Zadar to see the town and its attractions. We were surprised to find that our travel agent had booked us in this week end resort. Initially I was upset that our agent had not booked us in a hotel in the city centre. But once we checked in , we realised that nothing could have been better. This place is well connected to the city centre by taxis and also a toy train. So no issues. This is an ideal week end family resort. Being Saturday, the place was packed with families with children. They made the place lively. The rooms were small but very comfortable. The amenities were complete. Food was part of the package. The food spread was awesome with all types of cuisine. It was a delicious experience. My 3 year old grand daughter Anayka had the best time of her life. The play area was huge with all possible sports. She was so happy , that we found it difficult to take her out of the play area. It was indeed a delightful experience which we had not bargained for.
