Orbe Weekend

Hotel uses a virtual reception desk that may challenge some people. It worked for us although there was a slight I.T. glitch that we solved! Room was a good size, breakfast was traditional and adequate. Location suited as the bus shops were nearby.

Lovely older hotel with very friendly staff

This is an older hotel but the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable! The girl at the check in desk was beyond friendly and helpful! We arrived after the laundry staff had left for the night and She took our laundry and washed, dried and folded it for us!! She also came up to check on ya after we check in and smelled that there was a little bit of a musty smell in our room and quickly she moved us to another room! One negative was the breakfast in the morning- it was 18euros and consisted of croissants, a bit of fruit, cheese and juice or coffee. I would definitely stay here again, I just wouldn’t have the breakfast!

À fuir. Salle de bain et chambre qui deviennent irrespirables Ă  cause de l'activitĂ© illicite de chambres voisines. La rĂ©ception Ă  distance et aucun personnel anglophone/francophone sur place, ce qui a rendu les Ă©changes difficiles et l'intervention longue en plus d'ĂȘtre peu efficace. Par ailleurs, le restaurant Ă©tait fermĂ© pour cause de travaux, ce que je n'ai appris qu'une fois sur place. La literie est fatiguĂ©e et la propretĂ© de la salle de bain pas au rendez-vous. Certainement dans le top 3 de mes pires expĂ©riences d'hĂŽtel.

On ne nous a pas attribuĂ© la chambre rĂ©servĂ©e! Elle ressemblait aux photos d’une chambre proposĂ©e sur le site moins cher
 si j’avais voulu cela j’aurai pris la moins cher! Il Ă©tait spĂ©cifiĂ© « vue sur la montagne » mais nous avons eu vu sur le parking. Quand j’ai essayĂ© d’en faire part a la rĂ©ception, l’un ne comprenait pas et l’autre affirmait que toutes les chambres Ă©taient prises
alors pourquoi proposer sur le site ce type de chambre s’il n’y en a pas? La chambre convenait tout de mĂȘme mais n’était pas celle attendue. MalgrĂ© le fait que la porte de la salle de bain Ă©tait cassĂ©e et ne se fermait pas.

Der unpersönliche Check-in via Monitor mit schlechtem SprachverstĂ€ndnis auf der Theke der Reception war ein unangenehmer Start in den Aufenthalt. Schade, denn ansonsten war die Unterkunft grundsĂ€tzlich gut. Negativ war auch, dass die Unterkunft vorab fĂŒr Fragen weder per Telefon noch per Mail erreichbar war.

L’accueil s’est bien passĂ©, par contre ma rĂ©servation ExpĂ©dia n’avait pas Ă©tĂ© prise en compte. NĂ©anmoins lors de mon sĂ©jour une personne de l’hĂŽtel est entrĂ©e dans ma chambre avec son badge, c’est pas acceptable, elle voulait communiquer mais ne parlait ni Français ni Anglais, ce qui a rendu la situation difficile de comprĂ©hension. Par ailleurs un bruit de cloche trĂšs dĂ©sagrĂ©able Ă©tait prĂ©sent en permanence, et impossible de dormir avec la fenĂȘtre fermĂ©e (chaleur de +30 dĂ©grĂ©es). Il faisait Ă©touffant dans la chambre.
