SpringHill Suites by Marriott Yuma

3.0 out of 5.0

I work for a Marriott hotel and I will say that this hotel represented very well. My wife and I decided not to sleep on the family's couch and instead we enjoyed the room at the Springhill. The temp outside was over 100 degrees and the AC was very welcoming. Bathroom small, but otherwise the room was very nice. The breakfast in the a.m was very good, but they need to add another waffle iron. Can't hurt to put a second one out. I commented on how soft the scrambled eggs were. Not easy to do when you microwave them. The gatehouse lady had it mastered. Nice job. Thank you also to Eddy the AGM.

I thought my room was really clean. I didn't hesitate to sit on any of the furniture in the suite area. Everything worked, including the shower, fridge and air conditioner, which I thought operated at an acceptable noise level in the middle of the night. The property was nice and clean, and it's a smoke-free, which I liked. The only negative was the people above me were noisy and there was a lot of banging on ceiling. Next time I will request a top floor (I was on the first level). Otherwise, the property was nice and peaceful. The place is far enough away from the freeway (I-8) where I didn't hear any traffic. So yea, I'd stay at Springhill Suites again.

Great room with high ceilings, separate seating area, work desk, mini kitchen area (mini fridge, microwave). Great breakfast. Great pool and hot tub. Great beds. Great staff!.. Conveniently located close to tons of places to eat and shop. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Springhill Suites are consistently good places to stay and this one in Yuma was no exception. The rates are reasonable. The rooms are top notch. The service is excellent. The staff was very friendly. Everything is the room was in good working order. The room was clean and comfortable.

I stopped on in Yuma and stayed at the hotel overnight. Okay I was not there for long but every member of staff was delightful. I was made to feel welcome. Although I would have liked a room overlooking the desert- I had the freeway! It was quiet. Only disappointment I had to drive to the restaurants as It was difficult to walk nearby.

I come to Yuma often for business and have stayed at most of the larger hotels. You won't be disappointed with Springhill Suites. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Internet speed is excellent. The Hilton properties in Yuma all have very slow internet.

One night, two adults, two children, one suite. About what we've come to experience from this chain; although slightly below expectations. Prior properties had better amenities and two TV's instead of one swinging between the two sections of the room. Check in was painless and swift; with the breakfast below expectations for Springhill.

The room/suite was spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and gave us a bag of cookies upon arrival...nice touch. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows only okay. I wish hotels would provide very soft pillows, but none seem to do this. The location is very good. I'd stay here again. One quick hint: I suggest you don't park in the handicapped spot to the right of the entry as there is a tree there that the birds nest in. Our car was bombed by birds!

I spent two nights at the hotel recently, and they were unable to print my receipt upon checkout (had to email it the next day). When I checked out I confirmed with the clerk that as a Platinum Rewards member I would not be charged for high-speed internet. Upon receiving my bill, I found out that I was indeed charged and they did not have my correct Rewards number. I called the front desk twice, speaking with "Freddie" the second time, and was told that the bill would be corrected and a revised bill sent to me. Twice I never received anything from the hotel. They obviously do not care about customer service, and the fact that they'd blow off a Platinum rewards member should get some attention from Marriott.

We went for a Softball tournament with our Grand daughter. The team staying at the Suites too. The staff was very accommodating. Thanks, Eddie. The rooms were Medium size and well designed.Beds comfy. Quiet. We stayed on the third floor away from 10 year old girls team :). Breakfast: Eggs, turkey and pork sausage,Bacon, toast, waffle maker ,juices, milk, muffins and cereals. Just one issue, there was only one lady working the breakfast area. Should have been 2 . She did her best. Another plus? Walking distant to the Cracker Barrel!
