The manager is absolutely terrible, and legitimately lied about have completed the ADA training and requires anyone with a service dog to show their certification proof, which is completely illegal. The bathroom had mold growing all over it which I had to bathe my 5 year old daughter in a tub surrounded with the mold. A mouse was sitting right on the counter behind the continental breakfast bar. Pay a few bucks more and stay literally ANYWHERE else. This place is a complete dump, I’ve never been so disappointed with a motel in my life.

The hot water comes out brown. It takes 10-15 minutes of the water running to become hot. Towels are laundered but stained. Some towels labeled UCLA Med. No insulation around the door to keep the cold out. Curtains torn hanging irregular. Room safe broken/inoperable. Only Ice maker is a counter top in the office, capacity when filled of one square ice bucket full. The bed was comfortable and the sheets where clean. Onsite owner couple, the Man being extremely nice his wife not so much.

we went last month to see fall colors, stayed for two nights...it"s a nice hotel.Breakfast was excellent, staffs wear very good.Location is very near to lakes. Was skeptical after seeing some recent reviews, however Our stay was really pleasant.

The property had very little to offer but it did the job for sleeping. The cable in our room did not work. The blow dryer did not work. The curtains were broken. But it was ok enough to sleep.

I urge you to consider for your Mammoth Lakes vacation enjoyment the following facts: This hotel is heavily misrepresented by its online advertisements, and is run by the least professional, most rude management team I have ever, over countless thousands of hotel stays I have endured/enjoyed over my lifetime for work and leisure, EVER encountered. The property is filthy, the pool “down for maintenance” throughout the entire year, and the staff, again, gratuitously insulting it is shocking! Please look more closely than I did last-minute at Trip advisor or other Orbitz reviews to save yourself from this nightmare... there are so many choices in Mammoth, don’t make my mistake!

Even considering the low rate this was a horrible experience. Toilet barely working, barely tiepid water in the shower (the sink had hot water), bed sheets with crumbs and hair (disgusting!), table dirty with some sticky substance, room at freezing temperature when walked in.

Breakfast was a joke. Toast and coffee but no creamer. The juice machine wasn’t even plugged in. Hot tub was dirty. No hot water in the shower. You could tell the owners skimped on just about everything.

Probably the worst motel you will find in Mammoth. Motel 6 may seem like a Ritz-Carlton in comparison. Although the staff was pleasant, the overall condition of the motel is in sad need of upgrading and other repairs. I asked for a ground floor when I made the reservations but was told that would be extra when I checked in, so was given a distant upper room. It smelled upon entry, there were dead bugs in the bathroom, chipped paint, and there was no remote control or listing guide for the TV. At least there was an in-room cheapo coffee maker and small fridge. And the complimentary breakfast was OK. Also of note, the parking lot is very small and tight, so good luck if you have a large SUV, Camper, or Pick-Up Truck. I'm not picky about my motels as I am mostly out fishing, hiking, or camping when I'm in the Mammoth area so just want a clean and comfortable place to crash; so I won't be staying here again. The old adage that you get what you pay for certainly applies to the Rodeway.

Friendly staff, but dirty and poorly maintained rooms and property. Hair balls in shower, leftovers in the refrigerator, odors. Not recommended.

At initial arrival (7:15pm) June 19th the desk Mgr. was gracious & hospitable. He said the Inn was under new ownership. He said our room was close and available. I paid cash for two nights stay -I asked for a receipt & he said his printer wasn’t working. We entered Rm. 112 & it hadn’t been cleaned from earlier guests. I went back to Mgr. -he apologized - gave me a voucher for dinner @ Mx Rest. across the street so he could have it cleaned. The restaurant mgr. declined the voucher & said Rodeway Inn hadn’t approved it with the restaurant owner & we were the second guests referred for a “comped meal”. We came back after “we paid” for our dinner - the room hadn’t been touched! The Mgr unhappily & personally changed sheets, cleaned bathroom - He couldn’t get any housekeeper to help him. Then two young men came with a vacuum- which inturn ended up being a shampoo machine & left the carpeting wet all nite & into the second day We did not get into our room until 9:15 pm that nite. At checkout, I asked for a receipt again & a new desk clerk said she couldn’t print me a receipt and the owner wasn’t available to assist. We will never return nor recommend this dirty and under-trained/poorly staffed motel. We are long time vacationers to Mammoth- this was an extremely sad experience.

Very bad management. No one available for checking in after Check-in hours start. Highly mismanaged.

Perfect spot in town! You won’t find a better spot especially for the price. I booked taking the gamble after reading all these negative reviews and I think I won. I couldn’t find any issues(I tried really hard to find at least one). Jason was extremely accommodating even upon our late arrival. The shower and heater worked perfectly. The bed was comfy and the breakfast was icing on the cake. I wish i checked out the jacuzzi this time, but I’ll definitely be back!

This hotel was right around the corner from the village! Our room had a microwave and refrigerator which was nice! Overall I had a good experience

Nice stay for one night. Breakfast is normal for its price, limited choice -- I didn't take it and went to a local cafe.

It is a decent location for a lower price than other hotels around. Both day and night staff were very helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations, extra towels, etc. My biggest complaint is that the parking spaces are very narrow.

This hotel is a great place to stay, the rooms were pretty big, and the beds were comfortable. I did not have any complaints about this hotel.
