A querky guest house, interesting decor, one of a kind. Very convenient location as walkable into York. Pleasant location. Useful to have parking at the guest house but small car park and there is a charge.. The downside for me as a solo traveller was the price of the room. It stated small double room however you would be pushed to accommodate 2 people in there . Room 7 is tiny, furniture for belongings is limited. Shower cubicle very small. Despite really only room for 1 adult in my opinion the cost was about the same as for a much larger double room with far larger ensuite. I would stay st Clementines again but would avoid this room

Enjoyable short stay.

Really enjoyed our short stay. Great old building with some really whacky decor which made it better and more interesting. Young gent at the check in reception was really good. You have to pay to park which I missed when booking. Would deffinately stay again. Breakfast was OK altho we did feel rather rushed. Only other dissapointing thing was hoovers, bedding a pillows on the landings at top of the stairs all the time. Great location. Still would use again

Hotel staff are really easy to work with and the decorations and hotel are very comfortable. The hotel resembles a Victorian luxury house. We would definitely go there again. The hotel is located in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by luxury homes, and it’s only a 10 minute walk to the center of town.
