Perfect country cottage
Honestly, Heather Cottage is perfect. Well appointed, Immaculate, comfortable, great location, superb garden. We spent 12 days there and enjoyed every moment. Really appreciated the comfortable beds and the underfloor heating in the bathrooms. The welcome basket suited us to a T. Thanks to Jo, the owner, for a memorable experience.
The cottage was excellent with a lovely welcome basket on our arrival. Beautiful garden to relax in. Great walks in the surrounding areas. Next door pub served great food with a friendly welcome from staff. Lovely places, lovely people.
It was perfect from day one . Welcome package was lovely , flowers on the window sil very welcoming.Every thing was spotless. And all that you could wish for in the kitchen . Beautiful garden . Plus a pub next door what more could you wish for . The wasn’t brilliant so didn’t get to sit in the garden , but we were also very busy visiting all the places near by and in York . Would definitely go back again superb

Excellent house for exploring the North York Moors
This was the perfect house for our first weekend walking holiday to North York Moors with friends. The house has everything you need and more! We felt welcome and quite pampered. The welcome hamper was a wonderful surprise. And, it's right next door to The Royal Oak, which provides good food if you don't have the energy to cook after a long day's walking.
