The room was tiny but but obviously cared for with so much love. Galtres Lodge just feels like a place that was created with love and intention. Breakfast was wonderful. The bed was comfy and the view was just gorgeous. Absolutely worth the stay!

Lovely time in this hotel, clean room, bathroom were nice with good water pressure, Rose and the manger were very helpful. Rose took good care of my wife and I, got us a cab, helped out with directions, restaurant had really good food. We enjoyed our stay, other than it was hotter than Hades in our room. Why hotel like this don’t invest in AC mini splits is beyond me. Every shop in York seem like that AC except for the hotels.
