Please note: Sorry, no hen or stag parties, couple and family booking only. This property has a natural water supply from a borehole. There is a covered pond in the garden.. Situated on a working farm, this detached holiday cottage has far reaching countryside views over the Hovingham Estate in the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Enjoy dining al fresco on the patio area in the ¼-acre lawned garden, or relax beside the wood burner on winter evenings. The market town of Helmsley is 10 miles away, and a 30-minute scenic drive to the ancient city of York. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Hovingham

Lovely little cottage and very homely with good heating. We arrived late around midnight and the property was quite hard to find so make sure you get full instructions from the host and arrive in good time as the location is quite remote.

We had a lovely break. The cottage was so lovely, surrounded by beautiful views and so quiet. My children loved seeing the animals and being on a farm. The cottage was so clean and well equipped. There isn't anything in walking distance so you do need to drive to the village for supplies but that is what we wanted. The owners were so welcoming and friendly.
