Toad Hall is charming in all ways. The property is on a quiet street in a lovely village and lots of shops. You can sit outside on a sunny day and enjoy a glass of wine at two different locations. I would definitely recommend staying there but you must be able to use stairs and a steps in unusual places. The cottage is an old building that has been modernized,
We had a very comfortable stay . We are regular visitors to Helmsley but it was a first for our guests . The parking for two cars is a huge bonus . The cottage is well equipped … well apart from a corkscrew 🙁. Our only observation was regarding the front door . It seems sealed . We were uncomfortable with this re fire exits . We had lovely weather . The owner may wish to look at garden furniture for wear and tear . A lovely visit . We will return .
