All of the staff are polite and patient. I really appreciate one of them helping me in figuring out the switch of a TV lamp. The hotel environment is decent and comfy with complete equipments, including every disposable necessities. That bathtub features a non-slip design which is really practical and thoughtful. Meanwhile, the breakfast buffet provides a diverse choice of food which I really love the mango pudding, curry and salmon. The convenient store and JR are just 5 minutes walking so, Almont is highly recommended.

Perfect stay! The room was very small, but super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Wonderful room darkening shades and soundproof room made our midday nap glorious before we recharged for a full evening. The staff were so nice and the area can't be beat! Less than 5 minutes from the train station, which was so helpful! We will stay here again. 😊

Growing up to 4 Stars

The Almont Inn Shonan in Fujisawa is truly worthy a 4-star hotel category. It's elegant, sophisticated, stylish, and extremely clean. Everything works perfectly, and there's nothing to complain about. The rooms are a little small, but they're comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The breakfast is varied, delicious, and sophisticated. The morning cleaning staff are diligent and very professional. I'm really glad I chose this hotel. It's definitely one of the best hotels in Kanagawa Prefecture. 🇯🇵👍❤️

Perfect hotel ever!!

Stayed 4-nights with my daughter. I’m sure this was one of the best hotels in Japan! The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety! People at the hotel were so kind and polite. My daughter got sick on the checkout day, I’ve asked them whether I could extend the checkout time, they let us do so. I really do appreciated for their beautiful kindness. Even when we we’re leaving the hotel, all people at the front desk said “ODAIJINI take-care ” to my daughter!! Great hospitality, cleanliness, perfect services…I would definitely come back when I come to Fujisawa again!! Thank you so much!!

Avoid it!!

The arrival was a very bad experience. I had already paid for the room in advance, but they said this was not on their records. So, I was asked to pay. I then showed my reservation number, the confirmation by hotels.com, and even my credit card email alert . They were unable to find my reservation, and keep saying that I had not paid. Their behavior was totally unprofessional. They did not do what to do. I had to tell them to call to Expedia. I also had to tell them to check the confirmation booking number. They insisted on checking my name, instead of the booking number. And so, I had to wait for half an hour , as they wanted to consult a person (I don't know if from Expedia or whatever) who should come. In the end, when this person arrive --without talking to me-- they found my booking ok, and they apologized saying it was their mistake. They did not offer any compensation for all the hassle and the waiting, nor they seemed to care that they had done something very wrong. I was so disappointed that I even refused to talk to them any more . It was a very peculiar experience, as these things do not happen in Japan, and if they do, they always try to compensate and correct their mistakes. In summary, this is not a good hotel. Completely unprofessional. They only want your money for a extremely small room and a very high price, and they do not offer anything valuable in exchange. And they do not know how to behave. Avoid it,
