Basic room, great service and location.

Basic room. Sheets and walls had a number of dirt stains (having stayed in other similar Indonesian hotels before, this seems kinda common), also the room had a number of ants here and there. However this was made up by the great service and location. There are a number of eateries right outside the hotel, also Malioboro Mall was like maybe a minute's walk away. Extremely convenient. Would stay again.

Good Hotel at very convenient location

booked this hotel because it look modern, clean and cheap. I am doing the hike at Mt Merapi and just need a room to keep my luggage. The room is clean and bed is ok. However, the washing basin is too small. They washing your face and you will spill water everywhere

Nice stay for shopping to Malioboro

Limited breakfast. Room is small however the wifi is good. Have problem with the drain, however staff was helpful to change the room on the next day.

Not worth the price

Apart from the location and courteous staff, the hotel facilities leave a lot to be desired for. rooms are tiny for the price, no attached restaurant if you wanted to order food in on a rainy evening, no shampoo, cheap linen, etc. I wouldnt stay here beyond a night. There may be much better options for that price..

Convenient and Clean Room

Just 100m in a side street along Malioboro Street. Rooms are clean. But my room a/c wasn't really that cold. The maintenance staff was supposed to top up the freon gas, but still not cold enough. Overall, the room is clean and quiet.

Stay 23rd march 2016. The only good thing bout this hotel is their location. Very near to main road / malioboro street/mall. Price is little bit expensive coz only got small room, small bathroom, and no coffee/tea maker. Breakfast is not buffet, got to choose one menu. The taste of menu is good.

Mailoboro street is a very busy 1-way. The street is very busy. Stay in this hotel only if you want to be next to the street. It is not for people looking to unwind here. It is just a stop and go place.

Excellent location at a side road to the main Malioboro shopping street. Very convenient location and yet not so noisy and rowdy since its on a side road. Hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful and gave us advice on how and where to go with rough estimation on prices, so that we will not be overcharged by the dealers. Hotel was clean and sheets were changed daily. Shower and toilet were two separate cubicles which was great when we were in a rush for time. Room was a tad small though, but bearable.

Small new hotel very bargain rate

2 minutes walking distance to marliboro center of nite market very crowded. Many small vendors street selling souvenier from bags, shirt, to batik traditional outfit. Many street food around hotel. Open until 10 o'clock nite stay during weekend is recommended.

This is the first time, we stay at Whiz hotel, and the staffs are helpful and nice. The services are good. Morning breakfast are well served and hv light meal to chose . Only one area to highlight is toilet, smelly coz leaking area. Hope there will be improve. It very convenience to stay here, can go for shopping, history building and also near to airport. Taxis are all standby 24hours. .We chose the right hotel in jl dagen malioboro
