Very clean and quiet hotel, well located next to JL Malioboro street and tobthe central train station. The rooftop with the bar and the swimming pool is very nice. A big thanks to the staff who was very dedicated (my luggage was lost by the airline company and they did everything they could to help me, including after we left the hotel) and always smiling! A great place to stay if you are spending a few days in Yogyakarta !
My first time staying in this hotel. Frankly speaking, the lobby and design in the lobby do not fascinate me a lot - spontaneously, I feel that the lobby and the ambiance are too "plain" for IBIS Style Hotel. I expect something more stylish and hip. The lobby design of regular IBIS hotel is sometimes even better and more stylish than this hotel. However, upon checking in at night (I deposited my bag in the afternoon as I came before the check in time), I had a pleasant surprise when the receptionist said that my room is upgraded to their unique room. This amazing experience was completed when I arrived in the room. The room is so spacious and STYLISH! I simply love it. I was also touched by the personal message and cute towel folding (refer to my picture). Like other IBIS hotels, they also provide bolster in the room. Breakfast is okay. However, if they provide more choices of foods it will be even better. I don't expect fancy breakfast, but, just more choices of simple foods. "To go" coffee or tea would also be nice to be provided. In the future, I will definitely consider to stay in this hotel again.
stay one night at this hotel and booked 3 rooms. the receptionist forgot and only prepared 2 rooms, so i have to wait 10mins. then one room is far from other 2 rooms. the bedroom floor seems like dirty, i dont know i think it's from the color of floor maybe. and then as i am a moslem, i ate sahur at 3.30 am. i like so many variety of food and it's quite much.i really like the rooftop pool, the view was amazing. this hotel is near Yogyakarta station, malioboro and gudeg yu djum. love the location! overall was great stay in Ibis Styles Yogyakarta
This is not my first time stay in Ibis Styles Jogjakarta. Just like my first experience, I always be impressed by the atmosphere. The staffs, hospitality, cleanliness is excellence. Styles will always in my top list. No doubt!
As mentioned in previous reviews, this place's location is great. It's a five to ten-minute walk from Malioboro. There is a cheap laundry service for 10k rupiahs per kilo (one-day service) and is a walking distance (two to three blocks) from the train station. What I really love about this hotel is their superb housekeeping. Their housekeepers are trust-worthy (left my phone hanging around for a day) and very prompt in making sure our room is clean. We also appreciate their animal-shaped towels. Please send my thanks to Wawan, Anggil, and Indra. One thing that they can improve is the location of their breakfast. The smell of food goes up to the hotel lobby and after eating, I would smell like food as well. Over-all, great service!
Nice and clean room. Breakfast buffet had good selection and choice. The chicken porridge was really delicious and hearty. The waitress is very attentive and friendly. The drinks in the Skybar is reasonably priced. Overall a good place to stay.
Pretty decent 3-star hotel, quite good service overall, and comfortable beds. The property is a little rundown you can tell. Not sure about their ibis brand colour scheme, a tad garish for my taste but that's minor. Near Malioboro. Breakfast spread is good, very locally-focused but it's pretty sad in terms of the ambience especially in the early morning. The restaurant is stuffy and silent, no service staff in sight during the buffet esp when food or drinks need to be topped up. They turn up occasionally to clear tables and that's when you get them. Hope they get to improve on that.
It's a nice hotel with a roof top entertainment. Near malioboro street and some interesting area in jogja. One thing that should improved is the breakfast menu. Overall it's a nice hotel in the heart of yogyakarta.
A nice compact 3*+ hotel not far from Malioboro. The staffs were very nice and our check-in was handled without a hassle. Knowing most hotel now have somewhat small room, this hotel surprisingly doesn't. I was traveling with my small family, we usually book Triple Room if the size of the room allows it. Sometimes we have to squeeze into one King Size Bed (my 11 years old son is skinny though) The room takes easily an extra bed and it doesn't look small too. Fit in well. The buffet breakfast is relatively good as what you can expect from an ACCOR hotel in the region, a nicely mixed of local and international dishes. During our stay the hotel was full hosting a couple of meetings, thus the coffee shop was always busy including breakfast time. I would suggest to deploy more staffs during peak time. Malioboro-Street is not too far, just walk along Dagen-Street for about 10 minutes you will get there! Their Sky-Bar is also worth trying, but there was already an event when we stayed so we were not able to try. All in all a nice experience. Would definitely love to stay here again.
I've stayed at Ibis Styles Yogyakarta on many occasions. The staff are friendly , breakfast is a good selection and I enjoy the sky bar & pool area on the roof. It's located close to the Main Street, so no issues in access to the atmosphere of Yogyakarta!
