the rooms is not clean and old, they didnt change our towel even we stay for 6 nights. the dispenser is old and rusty. every morning you could hear a loud muslim praying sounds. but the staff is friendly.

Great location, walking distance to Jl Malioboro and the mall. Wifi was stable. Room was quite spacious. Decent international TV channel selection. Service staff was friendly at check in and took initiative to offer the early morning breakfast box when he overheard us discussing about our temple sunrise tour the following morning. The rooftop bar is a chill place to hang out at night, with a nice city view and the occasional airplanes flying above. We enjoyed the baked cheesecake served at the bar. They ran out of berries for the berry mojito for all the nights we were there, sadly. It was quite hard to get the attention of the service staff after placing our initial order though. Although the hotel design was colourful and fun, we could see that the place itself was a little dated, especially the bathroom. I found a small ant trail along the desk, but it wasn't a big issue. Aircon gets a little noisy if you want it a little cooler. The queen bed in our room was slightly soft/sunken in the middle. Toiletries are provided however do note they only provide soap but not shampoo. Housekeeping forgot to give us towels on one of the days and we had to ask for it at the front desk who then had to inform Housekeeping to deliver the towels to us. The process took quite awhile. It's the little things but I think some maintenance and upkeep is required. Simple breakfast buffet, and the place tends to get a little overcrowded during peak breakfast time (7.30-8.30am ish), couldn't find anywhere to sit during those times. At night, you can hear what's going on in the hallway from the room but that could also be because we had loud rowdy neighbours. All in all, this place is still not too bad and we wouldn't mind staying here again.

Ibis Styles hotel is a pleasant hotel for a short stay. The delux room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. There was nothing to complain about the room furnishing bearing in mind that it is a 3+ star hotel. However, I was real disappointed with the view. My room was facing the back and the view was so depressing that I had to pull down the window screen through out my three nights there. The hotel can only provide one type of pillow. If it is too soft or hard for you, that's just too bad. The shower fixtures in my room were not functioning properly. Good that the hotel fixed it immediately after getting my complaint. Small things can make or break a stay. The hotel needs to ensure the small things are right.

The rooms and hotel is a run down and outdated, but it's cheap. the room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Only 5 minutes walk from main shopping area & malioboro mall. Amazing view from the sky bar. However the attention to customer service in this hotel was the worst I have encountered in all of Indonesia, or any country. Firstly I should say that the staff were always very kind and friendly, but every single time I was at the restaurant or sky bar I would spend so much time waiting for the staff because they would disappear or be in another place talking to each other. I could understand if they were busy but most of the time they were just sitting around not paying any attention to the guests. Every single time I waited 15-20 minutes for the bill or to make my order.

Situated one block south of the traditional backpacking area, 400 metres from Malioboro and a 10 minute walk from Tugu station, the hotel provides a convenient location to form a base to visit the many attractions of the city and local region. Medium sized rooms provided decent, comfortable facilities associated with the Ibis Styles brand, although the glass panel to the bathroom area (blind provided!) was a little bizarre. Reception staff were polite and cheerful, although some lacked local knowledge when asked about transport options. A wide choice of Asian and Western style hot and cold options made the buffet breakfast an experience to look forward to! Although Yogya is a sprawling city many of the main attractions are within walking distance. The Prambanan temples are easily and cheaply reached by the Transyogya 1A bus and for the local bus experience to reach Borobudur its necessary to first get the 3A to the Jombor terminal.

Our check in process fast and easy. Room spacious and modern with lighting. And have lots of pillows which i really like. The housekeeper are doing their good job with decorated towels every day. Something that other hotels rarely do. The breakfast is tasty with varities of food The staffs are also friendly and helpful. The location is not really at malioboro street- have to walk down a bit. A bit far and dark at night

3rd Time To This Hotel. Accor Platinum Status Were Well Recognised, Upgraded To Deluxe Room With A Tub. Room Was Spacious And Clean But Hotel Has Seen Sign Of Aging Especially In Toilet Amenities. Hopefully Some Minor Refurbishment Will Be Carry On To Improve The Property Maintenance. Front Office & Restaurant Staff Are Very Friendly. Very Young Team In This Property. Breakfast Was Decent But Still Up To Standard. Overall Still Recommend This Hotel If Need To Stay Close To Malioboro And Yet Away From The Busy Crowd.

Very clean and quiet hotel, well located next to JL Malioboro street and tobthe central train station. The rooftop with the bar and the swimming pool is very nice. A big thanks to the staff who was very dedicated (my luggage was lost by the airline company and they did everything they could to help me, including after we left the hotel) and always smiling! A great place to stay if you are spending a few days in Yogyakarta !

My first time staying in this hotel. Frankly speaking, the lobby and design in the lobby do not fascinate me a lot - spontaneously, I feel that the lobby and the ambiance are too "plain" for IBIS Style Hotel. I expect something more stylish and hip. The lobby design of regular IBIS hotel is sometimes even better and more stylish than this hotel. However, upon checking in at night (I deposited my bag in the afternoon as I came before the check in time), I had a pleasant surprise when the receptionist said that my room is upgraded to their unique room. This amazing experience was completed when I arrived in the room. The room is so spacious and STYLISH! I simply love it. I was also touched by the personal message and cute towel folding (refer to my picture). Like other IBIS hotels, they also provide bolster in the room. Breakfast is okay. However, if they provide more choices of foods it will be even better. I don't expect fancy breakfast, but, just more choices of simple foods. "To go" coffee or tea would also be nice to be provided. In the future, I will definitely consider to stay in this hotel again.

stay one night at this hotel and booked 3 rooms. the receptionist forgot and only prepared 2 rooms, so i have to wait 10mins. then one room is far from other 2 rooms. the bedroom floor seems like dirty, i dont know i think it's from the color of floor maybe. and then as i am a moslem, i ate sahur at 3.30 am. i like so many variety of food and it's quite much.i really like the rooftop pool, the view was amazing. this hotel is near Yogyakarta station, malioboro and gudeg yu djum. love the location! overall was great stay in Ibis Styles Yogyakarta
