The hotel is quite old, everything like throwing us back to eighteenth century, the lobby, the rooms, the restaurants, the elevator.. feels like in the movie. When I had break fast there, there are some groups of people in their 70th chit chatting loudly made it felt like really in eighteenth. I booked a deluxe room, aint like any modern hotels, the deluxe room in this hotel is quite large and clean, with a large bathroom and there is a bath up. There are three floors with smoking rooms, and other 4 floors with nonsmoking rooms. The pool is quite large too, there is a small playground and mushalla outside the main building too. The break fast is delicious and vary, it also provides shuttle bus to the airport for free. The location is nearby the airport, with many souvenir center around the hotel. I got so much for the price I paid.
The price is great and so is the free breakfast. But watch the guy at the front desk who likes to keep your change. But the massage lady who comes to your room is awesome! A total mishmash of of service the whole way thru. But then its only fidty buck Australian so you get what you get. And close to prambanan and the airport. Over all not too bad but once again watch your cash at the front desk.
Stayed here for 3 nights for business. It was an old hotel but it was clean and comfortable. The check in and check out was quick. The service was great. We had a problem in our room but was quickly solved. Shuttle car was provided to the airport for free. It was great since we had a very early flight so had to leave at 5am.
Strategic location, clean enough, large room, free wifi, TV, No bathtub, pool, free breakfast available begin 5 o'clock until 10. Free transportation to/from airport. Almost complete but everything seem average.
This hotel was a last minute decision and I have mixed feelings about the stay. Pros:- Spacious, clean room Comfy bed Hot shower Free toiletries They will call you a taxi which will charge you as per the meter reading You can get cold beer (hard to find in Jogja) and they have happy hours :-) Had a great steak from the Japanese restaurant Cons:- Inattentive service Facilities need upgrading NY dinner (which was included in the room price when I booked) was disorganized and food quality was average Alcohol available but quite expensive Jazz lounge is too old school, it needs some variety in music to appeal to more people Breakfast has large variety but lacks taste / flavor I won't stay here again. But it's okay if you need to be close to the airport.
Plus : First thanks to management for upgrading my room from superior to studio. My children is very happy because the room is very spacious. Air conditioner run well. It have 2 swimming pool for children and adult. And have children playground too. Hotel have a large parking area. Breakfast are great, many choice for indonesian and western menu. Minus : Smelly room when first enter room, after few minutes it will disappear. Water in bathroom look dirty, yellow. Location : Near yogyakarta airport, only 5 minutes. but far from yogyakarta tourism area.
Extremely comfortable and spacious rooms with fast wifi access. Bathrooms come with a generous amount of space and adequate toiletries. The service staff are very polite and helpful too. Complimentary breakfast buffet with a wide variety of delectable foods such as local dishes, bread and pastries as well as continental breakfast selection. The egg and pancake station is a delightful bonus :) We were thoroughly impressed by the Teppanyaki served at the Nagoya Japanese Restaurant. We were treated to a sumptuous line up grilled meats and seafood, as well as scrumptious fried ice cream. Our table had a personal chef who grilled the food before our eyes and demonstrated his wicked knife skills which are sure to entertain. This hotel is also excellent for its locality, which is near many different kinds of shopping sites, ranging from the upscale mall for hip and trendy clothes to the rustic roadside market to buy trinkets and crafts
Nice hotel. You will see big lobby with traditional music show. There are two capsule elevator so you can the panoramic around the lobby. The elevator button needs to renew. So does the room. It is big n clean but appear old, including the bath room. The advantage is the hotel has bath tub, kind of rarely for new hotel. At the nite you can chill out on lounge and enjoy the live music.
This is a hotel that has full facilities for a guest but that is somewhat tired. The upside is that the food is good. First the downside: The hotel comes across as having seen better days. The lobby is grand and has lots of sitting room. There is a small shop in which you can buy batik clothes. I bought some and a hat that I used for the lava tour. But the room itself is tired. The bathroom has mildew. Toiletries are below standard. One toothbrush was stained black. I ended up using my own toothpaste. The towels are greyish. The slippers of some kind of vinyl or plastic and recycled. So together, they convey a downmarket feeling and hence the price. Would I stay here again? Well, it is nearer the airport than the Malioboro area. And for the price, pretty good value. The room is nice size, and where I was, quiet. The breakfast is hearty. I recommend the porridge, which apparently others do too. If your budget can afford it, I would suggest going upscale slightly.
Unique! Very unique! That is my first impression when I arrived here for the first time. It is located near the Adi Sucipto Airport. You can access here by public transportation like taxi, city bus or motorcycle taxi. Located in the main road, made this hotel really familiar around there. The building model is so authentic, we can see the building from far. The parking lot is really spacious. When you come inside the hotel, wow it is so amazing. The Javanese architecture is really strong here. The crew with their politeness greeted us with Javanese words. When you stay at lobby, you will be served with a glass of fresh traditional drink called 'jamu temulawak'. It will help you recover from your fatigue. The most interesting spot for me is the elevators. This is the most unique elevators that I've ever seen. This is covered with wooden carving, traditionally from Javanese culture. The Javanese traditional instrument is played in lobby. You can see Javanese nuance in the meeting room. The room is good. The temperature is cool. The meeting facilities is complete. The taste of food is delicious and various. The ambience is so classy traditional taste. It is quite far to get the center of Jogja from here. But you can still taste the Jogja feeling when you walk around the hotel. There are so many authentic Jogja culinary. The 6th Indonesia's President stayed here many times. You can enjoy his favorit 'soto' stall near here too. You can find many souvenir shop around here. So you don't need to reach central Yogyakarta if you don't have time, you still able to shopping near here for 'bakpia', batik or handcraft. For me this hotel is 'very Javanese'. It is a good place to stay for foreigners. For business purposes, the hotel is a good place because you can easily get from airport. This support your mobility. Recommended :)
