This is an old hotel in a rural location, the facilities are typical of the age. The bed was clean and comfortable, the room bigger than usual and wonderfully quiet. We enjoyed the company of the locals an excellent pizza and cold beer. If you enjoy old pubs & friendly company then I recommend the Royal, we would stop again if we pass this way again.
