The hotel was big and clean. Rooms are well maintained and clean. The breakfast spread was excellent from local Burmese to western food. Service was excellent and all their staff speaks English, so you will not have any problems communicating. The hotel is quite near to city center minus the traffic. Will come again when I’m in Yangon.

I enjoyed the stay. My favorite part was evening happy hour at the level bar. Great appetizers all included with delux upgrade. The team Amanda Zarchi, Samuel, John, roselyn and Yoon made the stay especially wonderful. T

Excellent hotel. Good service, lovely staff and well locate. You feel like you are at home. Restaurant and room service a bit dear but sroun de conar you ha a shopping Mall. A bar in there nnamed Harry's have a reasonable prices for F&B. Highly recommend.

The Meliá has a great location close to many amenities and local sightseeing attractions. The staff are exceptional and always make you welcome from the minute you step out of the car The gym and pool areas are spacious and welcoming and the staff are very encouraging and enthusiastic. Managers Pablo and David are attentive and open to welcoming new suggestions. Paul will always go that little extra to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Up on the level the comfort and tranquility continues as you enjoy a sundowner presented to your table by the exceptional staff over looking Inya lake and the surrounding areas of a city literally growing in front of you. May did an excellent job in securing front row seats at the recent KBZ boxing event which was an experience we would certainly do again. Chef Luis also produces exceptional food and is made more impressive by his staff who are always welcoming and amazing when preparing for Sunday brunch like a formula one racing team synchronised in every little detail. The Meliá is a must to visit for it selection of bars...Garbo's...best expresso Martini's in Yangon and Spanish and Vietnamese restaurants. Apologies for the members of staff I missed. You should all be proud of yourselves. Thanks for a memorable stay

all the staff is very helpful and friendly ~ specially the waitier - Aung Pyae, we met him during the breakfast , on the second day, he still remember what kind of coffe we ordered yesterday. which is really unexpected ! and they offer a free upgrade to lake view room which is connecting room also, it is really good for family or two girls like us !

The facilities were great and lake view was beautiful!Breakfast buffet was very delicious! The equipments at fitness center were clean. The trainer, Zaw Ye, was kind and taught position very well. THANK YOU! Zaw Ye^^ !!!!!

Last Sunday I went to Melia Yangon for my brunch. It was so amazing for me. The buffet is very huge and I am really enjoyed at there. Thank to Ms.Gracy who was suggested to me to try olyster and took the photo very patiently. I am sure, I will come back again.

Garbo bar very nice and comfortable friendly staff wint war kyaw kyaw san pwint nice service and helpful so I will come back again .I recommend it to all people visiting Yangon and those who want to have some peaceful moments.

I bought 3 months membership of gym at Melia hotel Yangon. It’s including swimming pool service. I am very satisfied with the hotel service, and service of staffs especially instructors at gym. If I may give some names here - Alex, Kyaw Phyo, Zaw Ye, Win Tun, Min Thein, Sopyay, La Min, NAING NAING. All of them are very friendly, sweet, prompt at their service. And I get a lot of both physical and mental health improvement since I joined the Melia gym and swimming pool. I experience that the staffs take care every single guest and member. At weekends, I go to swimming together with my 5 years old son. My son enjoys a lot. He always ask for more visits to swimming pool at Melia. Now all the staffs there are already friends of my son. I am very pleased to do exercise at gym and swimming at the pool. I try to go there as much as I can for the whole week. I think the Melia is the best location in Yangon, easy to go, plus amazing view around as it’s beside Yangon’s best and biggest lake of Inya. I would like to encourage to visit and stay at Melia and to enjoy membership at gym getting benefit of swimming pool.

I’m a huge fan of Melia hotels, they are always exceptional and the Yangon hotel didn’t let me down. Two things make the hotels fantastic, they are understated luxury and the staff are always incredibly helpful and friendly from the welcome at the front door to the goodbye when you leave. I stayed on The Level, room 2315 is a corner room with a stunning view of both the lake and pagoda. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. The pool was great with the only downside being it doesn’t get the sun early in the morning but it was a good size if you like to swim lengths and was always quiet. If I was staying in Yangon again I wouldn’t consider anywhere else.
