Amazing place to stay at city star hotel . When you stay there , you can have a very delicious traditional Burmese foods . You need to order before a day . Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Price is every reasonable...

This budget hotel is very conveniently located near SULE SQUARE where from all buses depart to various places. Famous SULE PAGODA is also very near.Room was quite spacious. Room as well as wash room were very clean. Linens were changed everyday.there were minibar with fridge and coffee/tea maker was provided.Complimentary breakfast was quite good and varied.Staff were polite. A complimentary soft drink was offered on arrival at the reception. One problem arose when they refused to accept EURO and would charge 4% extra on card payment. So I had to go out to money changer to convert EURO into KYAT,, the local currency.Only complaint was that the only mirror was in the wash room and my wife was grumbling.and the bay window opened with a view of the roof of the next buildingI went in the last week of December, still was very hot but AC in the room was very efficient. 0ne tip for you please do not buy liquor from duty free shop at the airport.as liquor is cheaper in many liquor shops in the city. Local beer is very good and damn cheap/

Booked this through Booking.com and was extremely disappointed as hotel room looked nothing like photos. We booked superior double so perhaps other rooms are different. It is not often I write a bad review but this hotel room looked absolutely nothing like the picture on Booking .com . To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The room stank of some deodorizers to the point of 'choking'. The bed was practically in the middle of the floor. The room was extremely tired and desperately in need of updating. The bed was as hard as a brick and the carpet has definitely seen better days..Due to all of the above we booked somewhere else at more expense. We have stayed in better hostels and back packers. Surprised to see that condoms are on sale in the room. I asked reception about this and was given a reply of ' owners wants us to sell them. View from the room looked onto a building site. There are better options for the same price and we opted for Yangon @ Heritage which was delightful in comparison to this.

Good value hotel in a good location. Clean comfortable room, I was on the 5th floor. Breakfast was good, typical Asian buffet. Pleasant helpful staff. Ideal for a my short 2 night stay and would certainly stay here again if in Yangon

This hotel has a star of a location. It is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and eager to help. The breakfast is great. The selection of foods offer something for everyone's taste. A big hit is the automatic coffee machine. It offers 5 different coffees and hot chocolate! (My favourite)

We spent 1 night at this hotel. The room was old, broken furniture, broken glass on door to balcony, old towels, Please think twice about booking here you can get a better hotel for the same or similar price.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It’s around USD40 per night. Spacious room and good location. However, we moved out from room 401 to 807. We have air conditioner problem with room 401. The later room much better and the upgrade only cost us USD5 per night. Big window with nice view. Well, at room 807 the bathroom vents was very dirty. Overall cleanliness of this property can be better.

I stayed 30 nights here. First night I was offered a window room but that was only to push me to pay extra cost (5 usd/night) for the remaining 29 nights as I initially booked a room without window, I decided to keep my booking as such. In both rooms the lift’s noise was rather annoying all day long. Fitted carpet in rooms and hallways old and worn out, large flat screen but no decoder image blur, frosty personnel at beginning thawed near the end. The breakfast had a poor selection of western options corn flakes and white ply toast bread. Positive points : Cheap room downtown, Aírcon working, no window = cool room airccon rarely needed, clean modern bath room, good mattress and clean bedsheets If the reception personnel had been more friendly from beginning it would have been a more ‘pleasant ‘stay, cleaning personnel good.

It was centralizy placed. The room was very good. Clean and spacious. Also litlle to no noise However the beds was a little on the hard side. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was forthcoming and every need was taken care of. Fun fact : There is only ladies in the reception and only men in the houe staff. The only wrong thing is that they should have a ashtray on the outside didnt feel goos to polute the strees

Small and very well run and organized. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. 20 meters away from the "Bar Street" cafeqrestaurant. Breakfast is good. Clean and excellent value for money. Goog a/c. Food market is two min away.
