"It was a pretty nice location, we arrived in the middle of a pretty heavy rain, there was no light in the room but it was confortable enough for a good sleep. You walk out and see beautiful scenery,
The room was a little too small, not closet, small shower, the water was not hot enough and the shower kept leaking the water into the room. with no chairs to put our stuff in, and with all the water and rain there was mud everywhere.
The staff were super friendly and acted rapid when we requested extra towels and an extra blanket.
We could go back when in the town."

"Me and my friend stayed. I did not know Spanish but my friend did. Front desk guy was great and helpful. Rooms where clean and tidy. Always had hot water and the VIEW IS STUNNING!!!!! Both from the room and the rooftop. The hotel has no elevator so having a super large overly packed suitcase was a challenge but the front desk guy did offer if I wanted to stay on the bottom floor or the 3rd floor. I opted for the 3rd top floor anyway and it was worth it because waking up and seeing that stunning view from your bed was beyond amazing. Let me tell you that the secret to seeing the heart of everything is waking up at 6am, going to the rooftop and seeing all the birds flying around after waking up, hearing the roosters and dogs. I am not sure what kind of birds are in Xilitla but they sound amazing. They don't serve breakfast but that is ok because I would rather support the small businesses as well which are just down the road. Super nice to visit here from Canada! I felt safe even when I went out after 12 midnight. I would stay here again and recommend anyone to stay here if you want an incredible view and you have no exceptions or are not high maintenance. This is no Hilton hotel but beyond better than Hilton for the vibes, character and view. I give this hotel a 10 of 10! Property is amazing. The only thing I would say is driving up to the parking area to the hotel, because it is in a back alley, is extremely challenging and road not well maintained."
"Our hosts at Posada Verde were very accomodating. They helped us obtain entrances to the Garden of Edward James and arranged for an english speaking guide. The food at the Posada was excellent and the contenental breakfast was lovely.
The beds and pillows were so comfortable, i contemplated staying a third night just to enjoy the comfort and good sleep"
