Discover Gozo’s slower pace of life at Ta\'Battista B&B & Pool - Il-Wilġa. This boutique hideaway for 2 is nestled in the charming village of Ix-Xewkija. Guests can relax with a good book on the shared terrace, take a refreshing dip in the shared pool or simply wander through the old town to absorb the local culture.

Situated on the first floor (with a lift) this peaceful retreat is one of 6 uniquely designed double rooms and 3 apartments. The property’s thoughtful design provides a comfortable home-away-from-home, perfect for couples, solo travellers and small groups. There is also a sunny shared terrace, with comfortable outdoor tables and chairs for alfresco dining.

Ta’ Battista B&B offers an optional breakfast for €10 per person / per day, which includes a selection of local and continental favourites. For bookings in January and Febraury we are pleased to offer it to our guests.

Bedroom: The spacious sea view bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, a wardrobe and a small desk. Guests can also enjoy a shared terrace, a flat-screen digital TV, a microwave and a fridge.

Location

The boutique Ta’ Battista B&B is located in Ix-Xewkija, close to many of Gozo’s cultural and natural wonders.

The iconic Rotunda of St. John the Baptist is a 5-minute walk away, Victoria (Rabat), the island\'s capital, with its historic Citadel a 7-minute drive and the Azure Window ruins in Dwejra Bay are approximately a 20-minute drive. Guests can also visit the famed Ġgantija Temples in Triq, some of the oldest free-standing structures in the world which date back over 5,000 years (a 5-minute drive / 30-minute walk).

There are also various scenic walks nearby revealing incredible views of the Gozitan countryside, including the Ta’ Ċenċ Footpath which is a 9-minute drive away or a 30-minute walk. Beach lovers can head to Gorgun Beach (a 7-minute drive) or Mġarr ix-Xini Beach (a 9-minute drive).

Part of the Maltese archipelago in the Mediterranean, the serene island of Gozo is known for its rugged coastline, rich history, and tranquil countryside. Often described as a more rural and laid-back alternative to the main island of Malta.

The closest airport is Malta International Airport, which is approximately a 1 hour 15 - minute drive away including a scenic ferry ride.
