Have stayed here a number of times over the last few years for business. Generally nice hotel, rooms are comfortable and spacious, breakfast is good, everything clean and tidy. Pool and gym are also decent and largely unused in my experience. Other food is not great and this is demonstrated by the very empty restaurant. As for location, unfortunately there only ever seems to be less and less choice in the surrounding area which used to have a few restaurants and bars but is now largely abandoned. This hotel is about a 15 minute taxi ride from the nearest area that I'd consider to be worth wandering around in the evening. Perfectly adequate for a short business stay but make sure you have a lot of work to do to fill the time! If you're after a bit of life outside the hotel walls it's probably not for you.

The staff is not as friendly and looks 5 stars. The surrounding is good provided that you like a quiet area. There should be many shops around, however, many seem shut down. Further away, there is a small supermarket which you may shop for tibits or cup noodles.

I arrived at the hotel about 3 pm there can be no excuse for any hotel at this kind of hour. its the low traffic time at a hotel its after the checkout rush hour and before the check in rush hour. there was no one around to help with the luggage and also during the entire stay the concierge team were nowhere to be found. when i needed to check in. there were three people at the reception one playing with her phone the other two dealing with the person in front of me for about 15 minutes. the property is old and run down with bad odors everywhere the hallways are dark and gloomy and smell bad. the bed was ok the shower had low pressure. The most peculiar thing was i got a phone call in my room from the hotel a lady speaking from a script that i should give them a 10 rating in the questionnaire. this was a first for me. But any person can understand that a hotel that gives superb service has no need to call the guest and urge them. only a hotel that has real doubts in their service quality will need to urge and bother their guests to give them high marks. What i recommend about this hotel is STAY AWAY! this way you won't be disappointed.

I was in the restaurant at 19:00, it closes at 21:30. As I was the only customer, employees just kicked me out because they wanted to close. I would definitely not recommend this hotel, as the employees are highly disrespectful.

I love staying at Double Tree Hilton hotels because standard of service is usually maintained all around China... with rare occasional small glitches happening... like this time. Well trained staff, efficient service, excellent facilities, a room with everything working in perfect order... all these things made our stay enjoyable... UNTIL THE second day... Breakfast is from 6 until 11 a.m.,and I understand that occasionally can happen that some coffee and cereal serving points in the restaurant can run out of milk... BUT ALL THREE of these serving points TO BE WITHOUT hot or cold MILK FOR OVER 15 MINUTES IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE. That usually means someone in the restaurant is not doing their job of checking, and you will expect that to be perfect for a breakfast of 124 RMB per person. I would suggest switching breakfast to the nearby restaurants and fast food outlets around the hotel, plenty of those around. The rest of the second day went without problems, until we used the swimming pool. Overpriced swimming caps were not a big issue, but NOT having shampoo/shower gel in ANY of the showers at 2 p.m. was annoying. Every container was empty, and nobody bothered refilling them! My suggestion is to check the containers before you take the clothes and start the shower, and call the napping attendant to do what is he paid for. This stay for everything else could be perfect. When staff rang me in the morning to check that everything is satisfactory I even agreed to give them 10 in their own survey (which they insisted is the only number they will accept), but after those two minor incidents, I decided not to do it. By the way, no free wireless internet service if you are not "honours member". Be aware of that, and become one. Well, regardless of all of this, I think I will continue staying in Double Tree Hilton hotels and eat those delicious welcoming cookies they provide every guest.

Overall, this hotel provides one of the best values. The price was low considering the comfortable and lovely new furnishings and construction. The only problems I had were that the cleanliness was not perfect--but not horrible. Also, the fitness center had no towels or method of sanitizing the equipment any time between 5am and 6:30am. I'm not sure when a staff member ever did come to the gym.

As we all know, Wuxi is more of an industrial park. However, they are a few comfortable hotels. Double Trèe is one of them. Big lobby and the check is in far right in from main entrance. Room is spacious and the bathroom is renovated. It is nice if my photos can get uploaded. The staffs are friendly but not super nice. Coinciege is more friendly. They manage to get my parcels all located in their storage room. Aircon is running well but centrally controlled. Overall - OK.

This hotel was very comfortable for a one night business stay. The room was decent size and very clean. The executive lounge was very nice with great happy hour snacks. It would have been better if the happy hour extended beyond 7:30 PM. Unfortunately the A/C is regulated and would not cool any less than 21 degrees. I was mostly surprised by the exterior. Driving up to the hotel I was very concerned because it looked so bad but once inside it was okay.

I have a reservation for 5 days from 4/12/2017 using 20000 points. I arrived the hotel late at night. And I was told my reservation was canceled when they did not even contact me. The hotel staff told me my number is very weird, as it's a US number from my profile. So I asked them to reinitiate my reservation, they said they could not, and I have to pay to stay. I spent nearly 2 hours in the lobby talking to their manager, he would not offer any remedy, but asked me to pay to stay. I was very very tired, and have to give up arguing with them, and ended up staying there. They canceled my reservation without any notice, and totally messed up my vacation, and would not do even a little to help. I was so disappointed. The hotel itself was miserable. Every staff there was so unprofessional. They are always chatting with themselves, and pretend that nobody was there. I took a look at their pool, and there was staff in a cook suit hanging around there? WTF? Avoid this hotel! Not even worth 5000 points a night.

The check in was a sign of things to come. Took over 15 minutes to check in couldn't find my reservation through my company name or passport. Finally was all sorted. Then I find out you have to pay for wifi it's 2017! Then it doesn't even work. Wouldn't load a simple email. Finally get into my room and it was like walking into the Eden project couldn't of been any hotter. The windows were so thin it was like be on the side of the road. If they weren't they it probably would of made the room a lot cooler. Breakfast was bad everything had been out for a while and wasn't hot. If I needed to loose 5/6lbs in a night I would probably stay here again. I
