The hotel is very close to the square in Old Town, just a couple of minutes walk. Very friendly staff, nice & clean rooms. We had a junior suite and it was very spacious - still very affordable. Would stay here again.

We specifically booked a king room as we had read that these have an external view as opposed to an internal view overlooking the hotel atrium. We were disappointed on checking in to find out that our allocated room was an internal room so we had to go back to reception to get them to change it. This must have taken about 15 mins as they had to speak to housekeeping before confirming we could change. We then had to put our bags back into the luggage room and go back into the cold for another couple of hours

Very clean room. Good breakfast. Hotel Couldn’t be much better. Only negative was the timings of travel: everything was closed during Xmas, including Xmas market. But it had nothing to do with the hotel

First night we were put in a street facing room which was terrible. The noise coming from the bars accross the road was unbearable. I didnt fall asleep until around 7am when the bars closed which by the time i woke up the main part of the day was wasted. We then got moved which in all fairness the staff were great to accommodate us however, the new room was terribly hot. Even with the heat right down the room was unbearably hot. I ended up going for a walk in a tshirt gone 3am in -2 weather to cool down. Overall the rooms we had were clean etc however i didnt have 1 decent night sleep in 4 so i probably wouldn't return. Shame as the location is perfect and for what iys worth the stagg were quite helpful.

The room and location was lovely. The breakfast, that we only purchased once, was probably the worst one we have ever had. All 'hot' items were cold and the selection was very limited. So not value for the money. The beds were extremely firm and the pillows were also uncomfortable.

Fantastic location, a stone’s throw from the old town square. Classic twin room was spacious, clean, with a great, modern bathroom. Complimentary toiletries were lovely and hairdryer was a ‘proper’ one, not a cheap, rubbish hotel hairdryer! The only thing letting down the room was the overly soft and huge pillows. I asked at reception for a firmer pillow but they didn’t have any different pillow types. WiFi was very good throughout the hotel. Breakfast was adequate. Unfortunately the hot food wasn’t very,…….well,…….hot!! Cold salads and fish etc were excellent, as was the fresh bread. The food stations were very cramped and busy and there was no obvious staff member to place your order with if you wanted, an omelette, fried egg etc. you just had to ‘grab’ a waiter and hope for the best.
