A great weekend stay.

This was a weekend stay to facilitate attendance at an event and to visit friends. The room was clean and spacious enough for our stay. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate makings were in the room along with biscuits. The landlady was friendly and acommadating. Parking was nearby in a street, the permit for which was provided by the landlady. The breakfasts were brilliant with a great selection on offer and quality food provided, cooked to perfection.

An amazing stay. Lesley is a fab hostess. Room clean and Filter Water available. Fan and Hairdryer in room. Comfy bed and bathroom with lots of towels and a flannel. Breakfast times to suit. Breakfast was great.

The property was in a convenient location and accessible to restaurants. The only drawback was the car parking was unusual as no immediate spaces available. Although where eventually we did park it was suitable. The area was congested and we were lucky to obtain a space.

The Shrubbery is wonderful - Lesley is a terrific host, the rooms are excellent (we had two), superb choices for breakfast, parking around the corner, very good location. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.
