Enjoying open views over fields to the rear, this detached cottage lies on the edge of a village. Coarse fishing lakes are 1/2 mile away, and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and visitor centre, home to the WWII Lancaster and Spitfire, is 3 miles. Beautiful sandy beaches are 40 minutes away, as well as the resort of Skegness, with its nature reserve, sandy beaches and amusements. Lincoln, famous for its cathedral, has shops and restaurants. There are walks and cycle routes from the door. Shop 21/2 miles, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.

Enjoying open fields to the rear, this detached holiday cottage is situated on the edge of a village, yet only 1/2 mile from the village pub which is well known for excellent food and drink. There are coarse fishing lakes 1/2 mile away, along with four nature reserves within 2 miles, ideal for walking, fishing and bird watching. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and visitor centre, home to the WWII Lancaster and Spitfire, is only 3 miles away. Woodhall Spa, with two top class golf courses, the unique Kinema in the Woods (cinema), independent shops, outdoor swimming pool and attractive walks in the magnificent pine woods and choice of coffee shops is 3 miles away. Beautiful, sandy, beaches are about 40 minutes away along with the traditional seaside resort of Skegness. Lincoln with its famous cathedral, medieval castle, cobbled streets, Usher Art Gallery, independent shops and restaurants is a short 40 minute drive away and is a great place for a day out. Excellent walks and cycle routes can be found from the cottage, and along with the Lincolnshire Wolds’ lovely scenery, pretty villages and small towns nearby, there is something for everyone to do. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.

This is the second visit to beech cottage.

This is the second visit to beech cottage. This place is beautiful. Plenty of walks, a local pub, and a spacious cottage that has everything you require for a super relaxing break. Definitely a place if you want to "get away from it all". The only noise you hear is the wildlife and the odd plane. Lovely enclosed garden for your fur baby too.

We've just returned from our 2nd stay at Beech cottage. It's such a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage. Everything is thought of. We only stayed the weekend but would love to stay for a week. The local pub is fantastic too.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and well placed to explore the different areas of Lincolnshire. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden with many trees and the walks along the river Bain. The owners provided a lovely welcome pack and were quick to respond when we reported a small problem. There was a dog friendly pub serving good food just a short walk away. A minor drawback was that there was no village shop - but nearby Woodhall Spa did have a Sainsburys and Co-op, so that wasn't a great problem.

Great location for Woodhall Spa Golf club

Good property with off road parking for two cars. Nice touch that there was a welcome hamper with a few useful food items. As we were playing golf every day our main requirement was that the beds were comfortable, and they were. The WiFi was good, and the lounge comfortable. The local pub in walking distance serves good food and drinks. We hope to be back next time we are playing at Woodhall Spa.

Weekend in Lincolnshire

Top notch property, had a great time with friends who came up from Essex. Location was nice and quiet, good local pub for food and drink, decent take away in the next village. Would definitely stay there again.

Our second holiday at Beech cottage and won't be our last So clean warm and spacious Hosts very helpful dish washer packed up Christmas Eve and they went straight out and bought a new one and installed it for us So a big Thankyou from all the family x
