Fantástica casa de vacaciones en la granja Nollur en el fiordo Eyafjord

La casa fue diseñada por un arquitecto suizo y terminada en 2009. Tiene un acabado noble con materiales naturales como pizarra, madera y vidrio. Se le dio un gran valor a un clima interior agradable para el verano y el invierno. La casa se calienta con agua naturalmente caliente. Una olla caliente dedicada está disponible.

Los grandes ventanales permiten una vista impresionante del fiordo y el juego del clima. En invierno puedes ver la aurora boreal sin salir de casa.

El dormitorio con dos armarios y una cama doble invita a la convivencia romántica. El baño en pizarra negra con una gran ducha está ubicado en el centro de la casa. La cocina con todas las comodidades tiene lavavajillas, cocina, placas de vitrocerámica, nevera y extractor de vapor.

We had a wonderful week here. We saw aurora 6 nights out of 7. I saw humpback whales breaching from the property (using binoculars to search next to the whales watching boats) and the next day on a boat trip. The views of the fjord and mountains were stunning. It was snowy when we arrived which added to the beauty. The hot tub was lovely and warm. It fills up in a couple of hours. Lovely to sit in and watch the snow/sunset/aurora. The beds were really comfy with lovely warm bedding extra covers and it was very peaceful at night. Great wardrobe space. We enjoyed the music system. WiFi strength was very good. The underfloor heating kept the property warm and cozy when it was minus 11 outside. The bathroom was spacious and had plenty of storage. Liked the storage in the hallway and living room too. The kitchen was a little small and could do with a mini oven or air fryer but we still cooked a lot of nice meals. I loved the coffee machine that grinds coffee beans. We would come again for definite.

Ein wirklich traumhaftes Ferienhaus mit fantastischem Ausblick über den Fjörd bis Akureyri. Mir etwas Glück kann man sogar Wale und Delfine in etwas Entfernung hören und sehen. Akureyri liegt nur ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Das Laufas Museum liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe und wir haben den kompletten Diamond Circle vom Ferienhaus aus erkundet.Wir können das Ferienhaus auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt nur empfehlen. Danke an Thomas für die nette Betreuung und die Tipps.

A slice of Paradise

We stayed during the winter (Mid Feb) and the house was perfect. The views from the property are breathtaking and we had a magical experience watching the northern lights from the hot tub every evening. Waking up to the view from the master bed overlooking the fjord was spectacular. It feels remote and peaceful, but still close enough to Akureyri for supplies, restaurants and the ski hill. It was the perfect base for exploring the northern fjords and mountains, with good hikes, natural hot springs, lava fields, mud pools and fumaroles within an hours drive. The hosts were very accommodating and communicative at all times. The only consideration is the kitchen. It is very well equipped and adequate, but has limited storage and bench space so cooking for a larger group may be a little challenging. I would have no hesitation in booking again for another Iceland adventure

Unter dem Himmel am Fjord

Wir haben die Tageslichtspiele, Sonnenauf- und untergänge, das Nordlicht und den Sternenhimmel täglich genossen. Das Haus war warm, der Hotpot eine Wohltat, bei Schnee und Kälte sich aufzuwärmen. Ausflüge mit dem Auto zum Godafoss und sogar bis zum Dettifoss waren gut möglich. Ein großes Dankeschön für eure Gastfreundschaft.

AMAZING!!!

My wife and I stayed a week and loved every second of it. Since we have been home we have only longed to be back at Nollur. We were able to watch whales while sitting on the couch! I am already planning our next trip.
