Good location but hygiene needs improvement

Pros: - unbeatable location - the aircon in the room was very quiet - bed and pillows were comfortable Cons: - many areas were quite dirty - big cockroaches in the car park and also inside the washrooms in the hotel lobby - housekeeping removed our hand towel on the second day without replacing it, and put a used towel back on top of the folded ‘clean’ pile of towels - the room was quite dirty and a wiping the bathroom counter top and other surfaces turned the tissues grey with dirt and dust - room curtains did not really block out the light, and had several holes in the fabric - car park was a bit tight to get in and out of, and whilst the parking fee was listed on the website as $35/night, it was actually $39/night upon license plate registration

Breakfast was good & the room was excellent only thing which was disappointing was the mattress as it was too soft and it felt like you were in a sink hole. My wife ended up sleeping on the couch. Wouldn’t hurt to drop the cost of parking. Overall we were very happy.

Great location, very close to the beach. Disappointed to pay for breakfast upfront, only to be told that 'they' are now charging to make an omelette. Seems ridiculous and unnecessary.
