Great location. Large rooms, great amenities and staff. Onsite parking. This should be a Marriott. Not what I expected from a Best Western brand.

We only stayed one night in the hotel, so this review and my rating is only reflective of the parts of the hotel used; check-in and the room. Due to train difficulties we arrived 3 hours later than expected with only 45 minutes to check-in, freshen up, and travel across town to our tour. Check-in was fast, and the front desk offered to call a cab for us and have it waiting. We were given a map and a few recommendations for dinner. The room was large and beautiful, the shower had great pressure and hot water. The bed was beyond comfortable, both of us telling the other they could shower first in an effort to extend time in bed. There was a large tour group in the lobby, and a marathon starting outside, and we heard neither. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the train and most local attractions. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and champagne rooms within a block- ranging from a few Euro breakfast to coursed dinners- we had no trouble finding food within our budget. We walked around after dinner to see the sights lit up and never felt unsafe. If Reims is a stop on your European tour, the Best Western Premier Hotel de la Paix is the best choice for a restful night's sleep with easy access to the town and the train.
Excellent hotel with great central location, friendly staff and top-notch restaurant (be sure to book in advance especially on Saturday). Only downside was that heated swimming-pool was a bit cold for our daughter while we initially picked this one for the pool
