On the main level, you have lake views for days. Without a doubt, the best feature of this home is the entire lake side being lined with sliding glass doors leading out to the wraparound porch. The A-frame windows are a stunning touch to this contemporary lake home and provide maximum natural light all throughout. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to make your home-away-from-home feel complete. Cook and enjoy all of your meals in the kitchen, featuring beautiful stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar that faces the lake. The dining room table is surrounded by sliding glass doors and lake views, making every seat in the house the ultimate dining experience. The spacious living room provides lake views from every angle, a TV, and a large sectional with plenty of seating for the whole group. To round off the main level, you have two guest bedrooms, a full-size bathroom with a standalone shower, and a laundry room.
Head upstairs to the romantic grand primary suite - it will be hard getting out of bed in the mornings when you wake up to the views from up here! Enjoy your coffee, wine, and loved ones on your large private deck that extends the entire length of the upstairs. In the evenings, you can watch TV or stargaze right from bed. The large en suite bathroom features a standalone shower, and a double vanity.
The large wraparound deck surrounds the house and is truly just steps away from the water's edge. There are multiple chairs and a table for relaxing and outdoor dining. Your vacation won't be complete until you dine alfresco and watch the sun sink down low!
WHAT’S NEARBY The Inner Banks property is in a private community, which provides you access to the massive shared community dock located only steps away from the house with a floating dock to swim off of and an amazing lakeside bar! New address change made night time check in tricky
They recently changed the address of this place and it was not updated on the check instructions so check in at night time was a nightmare because the house numbers did not match the address we had. We enjoyed the house once in it and had a very relaxing time.

Never made it
Due the hurricane and flooding we were unable to make the trip. We had asked if we could move the week to another open week but was turned down. Not the kind of response I was expecting considering the weather and road conditions. Choose not to put my family in danger.

Ok but could us some attention
Worked fine for our stay however a couple of things could be improved. Outside area needed to be cleaned upon arrival. Cushions were dirty and not in the chairs. Cobwebs around the walking area of the deck. No reason for this if someone comes to the home and sets it up prior to arrival.
Long walk from parking area. It would be nice to have a cart in the home for guests to use.
Internet is too slow using old Hughesnet satellite. Suggest upgrading to Starlink.

Small family vacation
We booked this on a last minute vacation search and we definitely did not regret it! The house itself is great. Upon arrival, of course my son wants to turn on the tv (he's 5), and I noticed the remote was only partially working so I responded back to the texts I received for our info to enter the house and let them know and they had someone out to program a new one within an hour. If you are a fishing lover like us then you will enjoy this house as well. Also dont make the same mistake as i did and not read the description all the way because the docks and that area is a community area, however, this is not used much if not at all by anyone other than the renters.
Only negatives I can really say about this place is the toaster only half works (as in one side of each, so my kids toast came out with one side toasted, which just made me laugh about that really but something to keep in mind), also the may flies was horrible (not any fault of the property), definitely bring bottled water because the running water is the filtered lake water (or however its done lol)
All in all, we didnt want to leave!

Great view of lake outside and inside.
Nice house. Long walk to front door for elderly. One bedroom upstairs very nice but warm, not enough countertop space in bathroom. Small shower hard to enter and exit. Kitchen nice and well stocked. Great wraparound porch. Bedrooms downstairs very small, no closet in one. Huge house but space not well utilized .

Quietness, relaxing and cozy ☺️
Surprised my fiancé for his birthday and stayed at this little weekend retreat getaway which we both enjoyed! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook with and the scenery was beautiful 😍 windows everywhere made for amazing mornings watching the sunrise 🌅 my only gripe was that since it was his birthday weekend we were there to relax and not be in a rush to do anything since we don’t vacation much, I had asked the manager if we can do a late check out on our last day and was denied several times ,
Check out was 10am, we wanted to make breakfast,
Sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and maybe sleep in alittle, we were asking to check out at noon or the very least 11am. Even hotels let you stay till noon or 1pm…idk, this was the only issue considering the drive, the short time we had there for his birthday and money spent to rent this house. The owner should really reconsider changing check out times and give someone the option to have or have a late check out time if asked.

Peaceful and Cozy
The view is absolutely gorgeous and the atmosphere peaceful and relaxing. Even though November is a bit chilly, there was enough warmth during the day to enjoy boating. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We were a bit disappointed that we couldn’t use the grill as there was no tank.

Great views but a little TLC needed
This house sits on an amazing lake setting. My friends and I enjoyed the beautiful views with morning coffee and evening dinners. The house is sparsely decorated (no problem) and had everything needed for cooking. The VACASA team was exceptional - had to call them twice. The owner needs to do something about the jacuzzi (it was out of order) and the sliding doors and screens. The doors are hard to open and several are completely missing screens. Having fresh air is important and we had difficulty with this during our stay.

girls trip
The views were amazing. The sliding glass doors made it possible to see the lake from every angle in the house. House was stocked very well with the essentials.
The downsides are it needed a little updating on living room furniture and new mattress in the downstairs small bedroom.
Now for the parking in the driveway to the front door of the house was a long TREK. If you have lots of luggage and groceries, I suggest you take a wagon to haul it to the front door. It was a struggle for someone with slight mobility issues having to walk that far dodging hickory nuts on the sidewalk. Looking at the listings picture, you cannot tell the driveway situation.
The sign for Red Barn Lane is not a typical road sign, its on a small decorative 911 sign Hard to spot after dark.
Overall enjoyed the views, but was not the best fit for us.

Good country location. Plenty of room to roam. Like the dock being there as I was able to dock my boat right at the house. Would be a nice addition to add a fish cleaning station. Overall we had a good time.

Much needed respite at the Inner Banks
The Inner Banks was a dream. The perfect answer for a long weekend away from the rush. My parents, sons and I had an amazing time swimming, fishing, grilling, and just plain relaxing. The floor to ceiling glass windows and doors showed off every inch of sunrise and set. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and living spaces had all that we needed. The community dock is a must, enjoy relaxing by the water or jumping into the lake.
The house is close enough to town to shop for what you need but far enough to disconnect from it all.
We are definitely coming back.

Loved, loved, loved this home. Very new community and so we had the community dock next to the house to ourselves. We did meet a couple who are building a house in the next cove and hope to see them next year! House was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with everything you needed.

Beautiful, secluded, and peaceful house
Truly, a place for your soul to breathe! Because the neighborhood is still being developed, the house is the only one in the area and we had the dock and beach all to ourselves! It was one of the most amazing lake getaways we had! The house is beautiful with its glass walls and wrap-around porch and huge living room and awesome master suite! The other 2 rooms are tiny though.
