It is always scary to book a hotel so far away that we know nothing about. We were very pleased with the entire stay at the Vintage. It met all our expectations.

It's hot. No air conditioning. The windows open 3 inches. It stays hot. Since everyone's windows are open you get to listen to their tv and their conversation. This would be a nice place in the winter.

We felt so welcome when we arrived at The Vintage Hotel. They truly love dogs and their guests. The front desk staff was so nice and sweet, every time we walked by! The rooms are so clean and perfect. Housekeeping has thought of everything that you could need! We will definitely come back to stay! We did have a situation when we went to eat on Friday, 6/16, we got to the restaurant at 8:30p. The server was nice but very overwhelmed, it took 15 minutes to seat us (there were tables available and no one else waiting but us), it took 20 minutes for our drinks, and did not get our food until 9:45p. The kitchen was talking "trash" to us from the other side of the room like we came in too late. It was so unprofessional and not necessary at all. We got hamburgers, ordered them medium and they came out well done. Very dry and gross, we still ate it because it was too late to go somewhere else. We were paying hotel guests, I am not sure why the kitchen or hotel would hire someone who doesn't want to work the hours they are open. I can understand if we came in at 9:50 and they close at 10p. We were there and ready at 8:30p!!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, family friendly, quiet, plentiful parking, easy access to the mountain.

Visited Winter Park for the firs time and chose Vintage Hotel because of its location in relation to the village and base of the ski resort. Needless to say I was not dissappinted! The lift that takes you to the village is a quick 2-2.5 minute ride that places you within walking distance of the ski lifts and numerous, delicious restaurants. The only time I used my rental car was to go and get the rental gear from a location I had rented from online. However, if I had used Winter Park's rental services I would never have needed to use the rental car for anything other than travel to and from the airport. The employees were nothing short of lovely and friendly to talk to. The hotel cleanliness and temperature levels were perfect and never felt uncomfortable. I will absolutely be returning next year! Thank you Vintage for a wonderful stay!

Close proximity to ski area. Hotel needs updating. Decor is from the late eighties.

Check in/out was easy. Room was great well equipped for cooking meals. Stove small but, Indian one night n chile the next. Walk out to lift. Of course Winter Park village walk was a little long. But plan to stay there again in January. Staff very friendly. Drove all night got to town about 9:30 n was able to park in hotel parking. A+

This has the best deal for the best layout of a room in the area.

Why buy a time share when you can stay at the Vintage Hotel?

Everything was great and super nice. Room and view was beautiful. Front desk staff and housekeepers were always helpful and friendly. Only issue was I felt bathroom and sink was entirely too small and cramped...maybe a little outdated. It was only 2 of us, so for four people that bathroom would've definitely been too small. Even still I would def come back!

The hotel was dated but clean. It was conveniently located a short gondola ride away from the base of the mountain and some shops and restaurants.

The hotel is clean and comfortable but dated. I do believe it is still one of the nicer in the area. If is a ways from downtown but close to slopes.

We had a great time. Good location !!! The pool was fun and heated

I always read reviews before booking hotels. However, I can't understand why anyone would give this hotel a bad review. The entire staff was wonderful. This isn't a 4Star hotel but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would have to say the only down side was it was very hot in in the room. I think they should install ceiling fans in all the rooms to help with the heat in the summer months. They do provide a box fan but it doesn't really do much. I did take a bucket of ice and tilt in front of the fan to help cool off the room. Other than the hot rooms everything was great. I would definately stay there again.

Excellent hotel, great room, if a bit outdated. Very comfy with a fireplace that could absolutely roast the room if turned all the way up. The bed was super comfortable as well. Decent restaurant in the lower level, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location and amazing views to boot! Would definitely recommend for the price.

Good location right out from the Cabriolet. The Room was like a sauna and we had to sleep with the door open, we talked with the front desk and they advised us to adjust the thermostat which we had done but it remained very hot. The room is very dated and the room and hotel itself are in need of a good painting and patching. I do understand that with this hotel being located in the meca of Winter Park skiing and biking it is going to have some wear and tear. Unfortunately the wear and tear was that of a 1 star hotel and the price was exprbonant for the condition of the hotel. The hot tub and pool were wonderful but also a tad on the hot size. You can NOT use the facilities after check out so be aware if you are traveling with kiddos and doing the parent/kid switch you are not permitted to stay on the hotel premesis. This was disappointing for our family. It is Pet Friendly which is a plus.

Stayed here during the summer. Basic hotel, close to the winter park base by the gondola.

The vintage was vintage as the name States. The rooms have nice beds but the layout but do seem pretty dated. The location cannot be beat and if you are a pet owner you are in luck since they offer rooms. I would stay again for the value and location but don't expect much more.

We do enjoy the vintage hotel they always seem to go the extra mile to make sure we have a great time with our dogs and we love taking our pets with us when we travel and the vintage is always our favorite place.. We live in Colorado and we always call winter park our second home thanks for making everything comfortable for all of us!!

This hotel worked well for me and two children (10 and 12). Room was clean and comfortable. Kitchenette was well equipped and was great for breakfast. Outdoor pool and hot tub were good. The hotel also has a nice lounge if you want some time out of the hotel room. Also has some games to play. The hotel also has those very useful hotel carts (the type used by bell hops) for your luggage. There is ski storage on the ground floor. We enjoyed riding the gondola (Cabriolet) to the ski resort. There is a good walk from there to the slopes but they have lots of little red wagons for skis or small children. There is a tubing hill right next to the hotel which at $20 is a little pricey but the kids loved it. The hotel is isolated so not for anyone who wants to be in the center of things.
